    Can someone please explain...

I’m not complaining just curious why this wasn’t a HR....Torres has 93 power vs righties, Yankee stadium is a boom box of a ballpark and it was a perfect flyball after all 🧐

In my opinion, a center cut meatball like that to a guy like Torres with perfect/perfect flyball feedback should be gone. Were you using normal swing or power swing?

It was a normal swing but I don’t think that should matter with a player the caliber of Torres

It definitely shouldn't matter, but this kind of nonsense is nothing new. I'm still playing 19 and had similar experiences on good/squared up meatballs to 99 Mays and 99 Griffey except they didn't even make it to the track. I've been using power swing today until I get to two strikes and I've been hitting some more home runs.

Center field is about as deep in yankee stadium as it is anywhere else. That being said, a perfect perfect fly ball from a power hitter should always be a hr

I know I just wanted to emphasize that I wasn’t playing in some crazy dimensions like polo grounds or something similar
