Play vs friend on DD but the stats count??

All my time playing this game, I played friendly diamond dynasty games and knew I wouldn’t receive pxp or rewards… but I assumed that nothing counted because it was a friendly match? Then I saw the game stats count for players but why? Do people play friends to boost their averages and stats only for the flex? If that’s the case I’ll actually try now lol

Hmm. I have no idea to be honest. But let's say this is true and you run into someone who boosts their stats this way and has BA around or over .400, but is hitless after 5 innings.. It's like flexing with nothing, like lying on your resume, like flashing fake cheap jewelry. The real question is would you want to be that kind of guy? I know I wouldn't.

I’m never gonna try and get the flashy stats from play vs friend but now that I know it counts I was meaning that I would pay attention more instead of going pee in the middle of an at at thinking that stats don’t count lol
