I played a little BR but lately been playing a lot. Really like minus the goons you run into once in a while that hit everything .

Has BR ever been on HOF? I think it would be much better with a little harder hitting since most people pick shitty pitching. Be a good balance.

Wouldn't it be cool if we choose difficulty in BR?

It has always been on All-Star. And yes, upping the difficulty in BR to Hall of Fame would be a fantastic move. But it would anger the casuals, so it will never happen.

I’ve posted this before but it seems to fit here. They should let you choose your level at the start of a br run. If you choose all star you only match up with those who chose all star. If you choose a higher level you only match up with those who chose your level. You can’t change levels midrun and the reward path is the same regardless. This way everyone plays on the level they want instead of being forced into all star.

That would not solve the problem @FRSTDWN_XBL has, because it implies that everybody picks the challenge he/she is most suited for.
In realitiy: Those goons could still pick lower difficulties … to have fun or simply because they want to have an easy time.

Do not forget, that the BR-rank-search is based exactly on the thing you guys want and do not compare it to the situation, the mode is in now. At the beginning of a cycle, you get matches in the 1500-ranks … When you win, you will face „better“ (or luckier) opponents, up to 2000+. So: The challenge gets higher as you progress, only the game difficulty stays the same.

Nothing improves, if you are allowed to choose e.g. Veteran. Everybody can pick that… same for All-Star, HoF or Legend.
The „beauty“ in BR is, that it is loosely coupled to skill and you can challenge someone (perhaps better) in a 3-Inning-game … and be the better or luckier guy. The higher the game difficulty the more skill matters… the lower the difficulty, the more luck matters. I think, All-Star is the best of both worlds, because getting those big rewards should take some skill and not only luck (which would be the case if you could pick „Rookie“ e.g.)

Based on that line of thinking they could put a floor on it and make all star the lowest level selectable. The idea that the best players would pick all star to beat up on weaker players isnt necessarily relevant because that is what is happening now. Also if that was the case more than a few would do it and they would eventually run into each other as the run progressed. Ultimately the better players tend to avoid all star if possible because it’s kind of a dumpster fire.

Online rated has the option no reason this could not. I just think it would have more balance on HOF for hitting. The PCI takes up the whole zone sometimes lol.

I had been playing BR a lot before my PS plus subscription ran out. I'm unsure I will renew it as I don't think I will be getting the new mlb game because really the biggest change is the negro league players coming in but I am expecting a 2019 type storyline moments. And by the time you finish those they will be obsolete. I expect them to have new classic stadiums to match those Negro league teams

I will say that it was some what enjoyable and some people picked diamond pitchers usually closers. There were some weird things like clearly foul balls that counted as hits or HR in polo

Are you even serious? If the rewards are the same, goons would play on lower levels and just wipe everyone out (until they run into another goon).

Actually, I don't think that's a guarantee. The reason for that is the amounts of RNG that comes with lower difficulties. As someone who is usually very successful in BR, I would personally not opt for a lower difficulty for that reason. Why would I make it easier for my opponents to be successful against me, if I can just beat them at a higher difficulty?
That being said, I do think that this choosing difficulty in BR is not a good idea. Wanted to clarify that.

Just had a guy auto pitch to me whole game but he was a good hitter. Never seen that before. People are strange.

DD would be much better if they chose one difficulty for all pvp and stick to it. My recommendation would be HOF.

Won't do it. Would chase away the casual players and that's SDS's 'bread and butter'.

The point of br is using a variety of people including a ton of bronze and silver stars. Hall of fame would completely change that, and ruin the game mode. You go into br knowing it’s a slug fest,
