I applaud the new direction and how things will work, will be interesting to see how it develops.

Encouraging team build and theme teams is huge to me personally, I can understand wanting to always use your favorite cards but I think challenging the player base can be positive.

I am worried that certain card series will become obsolete like Rookie more then they already are.

TA coming back is cool but it needs to be Team Affinity not Divsion Affinity like in 21
Overall my interest has peak for 23, I had felt burnt out after 22 but this refreshing new direction could help alot.
Where did they show something about TA? Did I exit the stream early?
My only concern is that cards that have a Captain designation may command a higher value than they normally would command.
Tbh if I were to guess, the Captain cards are going to be the team affinity rewards
Unless it was just used as an example; wasn't the Miggy card they showed that had a Captain column his LS card?
Either they're going to assign certain cards a Captain column (like Quirks) or you'll have to option to pick someone and assign it to them.
If they decide which cards will be labeled as Captain cards, that will put a premium on those cards, especially LS ones.
No. The miggy one was a new series of card, captains. Captains won't just be from the captain series but live series aren't going to be captains and I imagine any online rewards won't be either
Ok. I really wasnt paying to much attention the the stream. Had it on as background noise mostly.

I loved the old-format. Build your team, that can start with golds and over time gets better.
But the fact, that the all-time-greats with their good cards came late (Mantle 22, Griffey 21) was also kind of a bummer.
So … new format, let‘s see:- How fast can you earn the 99s (I suppose, you will not get 20 in 1 day (for the casual user))?
- How significant does the captain impact building teams? Will we still see golds that are highly impacted by captains
I hope, that lineup diversity is still as high as it was in 22 (in the early months it was awesome) and gets better
I like the reward path system in ranked (thrice), it makes those cards cheaper
and gives more people the chance of getting those cards.Team Affinity: … always had 90% of cards lots of players did not use. Therefore neutral on that one :). I like that the feedback from the community (Jeter/TA) makes it into the game
Overall: Still some questions, but def improvement

First is for solo ranked
Second is for coop-ranked
Third is for programm rewards (e.g. „Innings“) -

They didn’t do a great job of making everything very clear but:
Ranked co-op = co-op ranked seasons
Then there is solo ranked seasons and the program path for ranked seasons. -

Watched the video. I am really leery about these changes. I am not a big fan of being forced to use players I may not care about for an extended period just to earn a one card reward. It is why I stopped doing POTM programs last year.
Also, for those of us who already struggle trying to P5 a player it will be worse when you have to remove them because their set no longer works for the current series.
We'll see how it goes but I am not overly optimistic about these changes.

This seems logical because the stamina attribute is tied to pitching attributes. If he's not pitching, and only DHing, then his pitching stamina has no bearing on that game.

But with them saying that it won't be implemented in Play vs CPU, and you being an offline player, it may only affect you in Conquest and Mini Seasons.

But with them saying that it won't be implemented in Play vs CPU, and you being an offline player, it may only affect you in Conquest and Mini Seasons.
I am very rarely in just the standard Play Vs CPU mode. Most of my games are done in the Conquest Maps and, maybe this year, Mini Seasons.

Iam in agreement he will regenrate if he is in pitching rotation, but i want to know can he fill the dh spot in a lineup while in the rotation or doea he have to be moved out of the rotation to hit DH. If he has to b moved out then the two way player is kind of disheartning

So, you're not placing him at DH AND in the rotation?
If you have him in the rotation and as the DH Game 1, and you don't take him out of the DH spot, he should still be in as the DH on non-pitching games.

He can be DH and the starting Pitcher at the same time. They showed it in the feature premiere and you could do that in the techtest. Yes, 2-way is in there

He can be DH and the starting Pitcher at the same time. They showed it in the feature premiere and you could do that in the techtest. Yes, 2-way is in there
The only thing I can't see you doing is pulling him from the DH and playing him in the outfield. I don't even think he can play in the outfield on non pitching 'days'.

I guess, that will not work. I suppose, you can just leave him in as a DH or sub in another player to be the DH.
Also: I was wondering, if we get cards with RP as a secondary and how that‘ll work and if you can put him in as a Pitcher (from the Outfield/or Bench). I suppose, that is not implemented
