Storylines immerses and introduces you to the stories and careers of some of the greatest and most important players in sports history."
New mode confirmed (Storylines) and if these players are available in DD, thats huge especially for the people complaining about using the same cards every year.

Satchel Paige had been in the game years ago before DD was a thing. I hope the 25 new legends are not legends that they struck new deals with there estate like Ty Cobb and and Ted Williams. While Jackie was a big part of the color barrier being broken he has been in the game for several years now. 2020 had a evolution for him so I think they should have kept him out of it to give a different big name negro leaguer a spotlight like cool papa bell.
Jackie Robinson was not even the greatest player in the league at the time. I'm sure next year the collectors edition will be Josh Gibson if they can get his right from his estate which I think more Negro League families will be willing to give the rights to the likeness to get their family members name out there to bring attention to those forgotten players.

Jackie wasn't in the Negro Leagues long enough (I want to say he was only there for 1 season - 1945)... there were a lot of factors that put Jackie in position to do what he did and it turned out to be the right choice. We'll get Josh Gibson (hopefully in 24) soon as enough but I don't think it's happening this year if the description about this being Season 1 and 24 being Season 2 is any indication.
