You guys need to send a message and say the cut and paste mediocre upgrades isn’t worth your money. I never pre order because we all know the first month is a train wreck and beyond frustrating. I’m starting to think some of y’all enjoy the chaos.

As a rule, any post by @arvcpa_MLBTS must stay somewhat civil. I admit I geek out because I’m still Fairly new to the game and it’s just another thing to get me excited about the season. It’s number 2 behind watching Arenado and Goldy build Hall of Fame careers :).
For those that hate the game…. I’m not begrudging you your right to gripe. But other than the gameplay, what would you improve? What would you like to see in DD specifically that would make this a better game? @raesONE-_PSN has definitely voiced his frustrations with the game but always provides thorough feedback as to how it could improve. His legendary post of a few years ago speaks for itself. So I’m curious what you guys wanna see so it doesn’t feel like a copy and paste.
You have to start with the attributes. Every diamond is basically the same now.
I just learned tonight that Hunter Renfroe got a better card than Willie F'n Mays!
The names on the card used to mean something but now everyone has Babe Ruth attributes. It honestly makes no sense. This game used to be realistic and it's far from it these days.
I went from playing hundreds of RS games a year to maybe a couple dozen. Now we spend all our time completing tedious tasks that we have no control over.
Playing a hour game of RS only to get 13 stubs and 3000XP is ridiculous. I get more XP completing 4 one hit missions. I've never understood why you earn more playing the mini games than playing a 9 inning online game.
They kept adding more BS and stopped caring about actual gameplay.
I believe that there are way too many cards in the game.
-
I know other people have said it and I fully agree with the statement: they need to go back back to 99 being the max for attributes.
-
If I see that the game is playing better I may purchase it . But I feel I won’t be wasting my money because it’s just going to be a copy and with new legends. The gameplay isn’t worth the money because the only care about DD not franchise or road to the show

Gamepass for me. No purchase
I would be surprised if they have it as a day 1 release on Game Pass for a 3rd consecutive year.
-
I can't.
Just dropped over $100 on tiles and shades at Dome Hepot.
I'm broke 🤪 -
I’ll be waiting. How long? Whole year? A couple of days? Not sure.
I tend to play just one “ultimate team” mode game. For the longest time, it was Madden. Tried The Show in 21 and had an absolute blast.
This year, the game felt extremely “grindy”. Not sure that’s a word. Ha. I never really got to play with the team I wanted to. Too busy satisfying missions with cards I didn’t care much for.
Don’t like Moments whatsoever. It is just as much luck as skill to finish them
I also don’t like that the game is nudging me to play online. Never have. Never will. That’s just me.
I’m currently messing around with RTTS and Franchise. They are fun and relaxing so far.
I’m far from a vet in this game, but capping attributes at 99 would be a welcome addition.
And only one 99 per player, please!!!

If it’s free on Xbox again I might just have to bite the bullet and get one.
I switched from PS4 PRO to XBOX series S last week and restarted from the beginning and my batting averages jumped literally around 100 points for nearly every player and most well over 100. It is worth getting one. The game runs waaaaaay smoother.

Not on 2/6, no. I will still preorder the digital deluxe version but I usually do that the day before early access. No need to do it 2 months in advance imo
-
Yes. Digital Deluxe.

Digital deluxe even though no selectable uniforms for online rated or co-op
The digital deluxe version shows "1 Special Uniform Choice Pack", is that different than the other versions?
Can’t choose what uniform to wear in that modeShameful it’s 2023 SDS need to get with the times no excuses why uniforms shouldn’t be selectable. If it’s good enough to be selectable in DD online rated should have the option also.
In DD you select them when you go to edit your team info and appearance... not sure why you can't select uniforms online like you would if your opponent was on the same console as you but could be a way to prevent lag (I don't know).
Prevent lag huh? Uniforms are selectable in online leagues with regular teams which makes no sense as to why we can’t in online rated
That was just me spitballing why they possibly don't allow it, I wasn't aware that you could pick uniforms in online leagues.

I know I said I was on the fence about buying 23 because the arthritis in my hands makes it difficult to enjoy the game, but with the announcement of the Negro League players joining the game, I will, in fact, be purchasing the game. Whether I play it much or not, I don't know, but I will be buying it.
I am still on the fence about the Digital Deluxe or Captain editions because I want the steel book and hat, but I also want access early in the morning.
-
Digital Deluxe like every year. Im not buying it right this second but i'll be pre-ordering a few days before launch.

Same here my friend. The Negro Leagues addition moved the needle for me. I was likely going to skip a new version this year but just watched the video with the Negro Leagues HOF president that SDS put out and this looks supercool. Interesting that did this AND Jeter in the same year. We can only hope that some of the Negro League ball fields will be in this. Last year was the first year I felt the game got stale and SDS was dropping the ball. Gotta give them credit on this gigantic move though.

I'm still debating. I feel like I gained a good understanding of the market and how to advance in the game, but it's so time-consuming.
It can be if you sit in the market but here is what I usually do:
Volume matters more than profit. In the time it takes you to find a card and sell (usually multiple relists) with 1K profit I can buy and sell cards that earn 4x that. Volume is king.
So figure out what the movers and shakers are early on. Usually silver and bronze cards will fly for the first few weeks. Silver and gold equipment too.
Filter to a list of cards, say 77-79 LS cards. Place buy orders on the entire list. Go away and do some work and come back an hour later. Cancel the buy orders that didn't complete. Put sell orders on cards that did complete, rinse and repeat.
I do this 3-4x a day using the app, website or in game. The entire process for the day takes no longer than maybe 30-40 mins.
Do this early to stack stubs and you will have LS completed within two weeks then you only need to work the market for 15-20/day to keep building stubs for investment purposes.
Topps cards are also big movers. It usually takes a few weeks of topps cards being released to make that worth the time but by June you can easily make 15-30K/day just off tops cards in 20 mins throughout the day.
Again, the key is bulk buy and sell orders. Don't worry about losing some stubs on a card or two of three. You will make it up with Volume. And don't worry that there might only be a 25 stub profit margin. Quickly buying/listing cards you make up for low profit with high volume.
Hope this helps.
