I think the cover will be the Negro Leagues this year, they’re just getting the rights together before they announce it, so it isn’t Randy part two lol.

No chance on that. They may go for the younger crowd, that have no clue of the Negro Leagues.
Most likely will be a current, young star, like Julio of Seattle. -

Im with you. The big anniversary recently celebrated,the current social climate, and the mlbs own desire to expand...
this game is the perfect way to build awareness. -
I think this was proven when they put Jackie Robinson on the cover and began donating proceeds from certain edition purchases to the Jackie Robinson foundation. They donated more than $875k over the last two years.

Fair points.
Madden & 2K are monsters compared to baseball. A lot of that has to do with them being monopolies, but we'll see what MLB does. There's no clear cut favorite if they put a current player. -
I think in the end it doesnt matter about the cover. Cuz most of us wont own a physical copy. But it still is a nice honor. Bottom line is they need to make improvements. And stop banning people who did nothing wrong and refuse to answer there tickets lol. Still dont understand how I cannot use my Xbox or PS account on this forum.

I was a taking a guess, mostly because they haven’t announced a cover yet and it’s almost February, so I figure it would have to be some sort of legend based theme, and with the Negro League records being counted last year and the work SDS does with the Jackie Robinson Foundation and such, It’s a logical guess, because I feel if it were a current player, they’d announce already and have a special card in the game currently like always
