I have now twice been at 675 and above going for DS and have run into players up around 780-820 respectively - I played the last guy to an 8-5 loss and before that I lost 11-1 both players above 780, is there that much of a gap between where I am at ( current 652 ) and 800? I just want to hot that 700 club!! Fun game though

the guys who are up in the 800s and World Series are able to hit fairly well on Hall of Fame difficulty. When they go down into all star difficulty the ball comes in so slow and they are able to hit it like it's a beach ball. I believe that is your problem. Once you start playing on hall of fame and get used to it I think it will be more fun. All-Star is just too easy and the better players should not be forced to play on it especially versus the lower-skilled. I could see how that could be frustrating.

It’s not that frustrating and I didn’t mean to come across that way, I love the show, sure it has it flaws but what doesn’t? The 8-5 game I just played was a lot of fun, I hit 4 homeruns and felt good on the controls, just couldn’t get the guy out ( he is way better than me at the game obviously) I just wish I could get someone not 100 points ahead of me or more lol - I have played 240 ranked season games i am 101-135

240 holy guacamole! Keep at it. You didn't sound whiney at all. I just know the game can be frustrating for me and others.

I've been running into people like this too. It isn't fun. I can hang in there up to them having a four-run lead, then it's just disheartening and better to quit and hope for a game more equally matched.

And holy [censored], that's a lot of games. I hope you have a gaming monitor.

Pretty sure you can only play someone 70-80 points higher or lower than you since they scrapped the the ratings mod (which is great). I’m 99.9% sure of it. So if you were rated 675, realistically the highest rated player you were facing was around 750! Definitely not in the 800s.
