I started playing offline modes of Mini-Seasons and Conquest on Legend only. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to play much online yet, but was wondering if anyone else had tried playing exclusively on Legend and wondered if their online play had improved at all. I do understand at this point the game is mostly a [censored] shoot, but I do feel like high difficulties, especially on Mini Seasons against top cards, might help out with timing and placement.

I feel as though all-star on ranked or BR is almost the exact same speed as Legend CPU. Plus Legend CPU is still a dumb [censored] and will leave pitches right across the middle.

There are some pitches that go down the middle, but I was surprised at the way AI plays on Legend. They were way more disciplined at the plate, waiting for only strikes, and the pitches were usually on the sides. The biggest difference in their accuracy was the pitcher themselves. In Mini Seasons, the better cards were more accurate and precise with their pitches.

But it was definitely a challenge, especially using theme teams and mixing it up

Yes I do. It's the only thing that's remotely close to mimic the online pitch speeds.

I enjoy the VS cpu mode on legend only.

I use my batting lineup with these alterations

Only 3 99’s in the lineup AND 2 Veterans AND 2 rookies

My pitching staff is only LS starters and 1 99 in the pen.

    All aids turned off

    No visible strikezone
    No pitch curser
    Meter pitching

    Excellent games

Last night got a win 3-2 with a Harmon Killebrew homer in the 9th
And a sweet save by 97 pressley

    Nice! I like the format.

I have a spin wheel I use with 171 different options to make things more challenging.

I get bored of the same teams and same players.

I play franchise on legend, but however a cpu and online pitcher are so drastically different. I guess in theory yea it would help you get better but the playstyles are so different in sequences and placements

I only play all-star RS games since I’m not that good probably 55ish win %. But I recently started playing H2H regular teams and been killing it. I’m 31-6 with one loss coming from a disconnect.

Both modes I only played all-star and I’ll tell you this Dynasty all-star is NOT the same as regs all-star. I strike out more than I’d like to in dynasty but in regs I don’t think I’ve struck out more than 8 times in one game and there were some games were o only struck out 2-3 times.

The amount of outlier on Dynasty is the reason to blame I’m sure but lately I been having way more fun playing regs and been actually somewhat good at it lol
