Person buys game.
Person says game plays horrible.
Person continues to play game and complain about how horrible it is.Well In my case, I just get stubborn and want to see if it's just me or the game is really that bad. From what I can find from searching online threads, many of the bugs in 21 (Did not get 22) are the same bugs that were complained about in 2015.
While part of the problem is I no longer have the reflexes and eyesight I did years ago, but the game clearly is a sim and player input means little to nothing.
Too many times I can have a pitcher with 90 plus control like Maddux and have 3-4 pitches per game that are perfect release point, aimed in the dirt, well out of the strike zone up high, or outside, but the game says NOPE! You really wanted that to go right down the middle of the strike zone, so even the worst hitter ever can hit a free home run.
I have lost count of the number of times where my opponent can have the tiniest portion of a ball nip the zone and be called a strike, but I can have 3/4 of the ball in the zone and have it called a ball.
If it was once in a while or happening to both teams that would be one thing, but when it's completely one sided you know the game has been rigged. That's not counting how the bunt cheesers are routinely rewarded for a glitch they have zero intention of fixing.
And then there are the many, many bugs while playing the AI offline. Free double plays at will, the tiny size of the field causing all sorts of issues with hitting, too many "miracle plays", 50 foul balls per at bat, rockets that hit the pitcher that not only do not injure him, but magically bounce directly to a teammate for a free out.
Last week in a conquest game I hit a pitcher in the knee with a 105 MPH exit velo baseball and it hit him so hard it sailed all the way back to the plate where the catcher caught it on the fly for an out. Of course, the pitcher threw a complete game.
I can't speak for OP, but while part of the problem is my skills are not what I once had, but I know I could be a lot better if SDS actually bothered to work on the known issues.

The CPU changes pitchers every inning in conquest.

Gonna be real hard to get a refund on smashed pieces, even if you do have the receipt.
Also, how do you smash it to pieces if it's still inside the box?
-
Seriously, if you bought the digital version, how would one destroy it? Scream at the icon on your PS5?

I'm starting to lose faith in this community. 15 replies and still no Papa Roach reference.
Well, may as well.
Cut my game into pieces. This is my last time playing. Suffocation. No breathing.

I can't speak for 22, but in 20 and 21 its only if you destroy the confidence completely or 30-35 pitches. I had one game where I was up 9-0 and the pitcher confidence was still somehow over 45% so they kept him in until his spot in the lineup came up.

Maybe because he says: "Cut my life into pieces...."
Use the Naughty By Nature song: 'Were gonna break, we're gonna bash, we're gonna move, we're gonna smash" or something like that, lol -

With a big enough hammer, the box and disc can be totally shattered with a few blows. I have a splitting axe that would be perfect for this job.

Apparently reading comprehension is not one of your strong points. I wrote: "Well I only paid $15 with tax and shipping" There is NO shipping charge on a digital download. I ordered it from a large electronics retailer for $10 plus tax and shipping. Still yet to upload the game.

What he said times 1000! I am glad at least somebody gets it!! That is not to say the elite players don't still rise to the top, but for those of us in that large non-elite group, it seems very hit and miss. I get perfect timing with decent PCI coverage lining out to the outfield or just a warning track fly out with power hitters all the time. This is garbage RNG way too often.

You may be right, because when I saw 'General Discussion' in these forums, I thought it was to talk about Generals Custer, Lee, and El General.
Glad you noticed! -

Whatever. If that post you quoted is really what you think is the best of the year, then you must have pretty low standards, even if you are only talking about since Jan 1st. That post said basically next to nothing other than what the detractors say around here ALL the time.
