Everything that is wrong about this game

Yeah.
I’m also wondering how the difficulty/mode/situational modifiers impact my pitching input.Do these factors change the timing window on my ppp input?
Like what makes it so difficult to locate pitches? Does the tolerance for error change significantly between these “sim” vs “casual” vs “competitive” choices?
If so, why would I choose to play an easy difficulty like veteran only to make it require the plate discipline or pitch execution of HOF?
Too complicated!

My CPU complaint is about moments. When you have one where you start the at bat with a runner on third even if you get a perfect/perfect hit the result ALWAYS is a sac fly. I guess they don't understand that the runner could also score on a hit. Makes me think that they are all scripted, and if you don't get the "lucky board" you will fail the challenge.
Another gripe about moments is when you have to get x number of hits, but you hit a homer on the first pitch the results of every at bat afterwards is
Pitch 1 ball
Pitch 2 ball
Pitch 3 ball
Pitch 4 ball.Personally, I find them to be nothing but a time sink and should be eliminated, with the extra resources going towards beefing up RTTS and franchise modes.

Casual noobs playing this game and the pressure from them to dumb the game down, that's my number one thing wrong with this game.

Yeah, that is the “sim” aspect of the game. I played this game for a long time before I realized that all the things I was complaining about had to do with that.

Fix the timing on pitches, it doesn’t make sense that a 96 mph fastball looks way faster than a 98 mph fastball, I never understand how I can be so early on one then the next one be so late, especially when the second one reads slower than the first one, it makes absolutely no sense.
Fix the rankings in online play, it is dumb, and for events and BR, it’s almost a waste of time if I’m going against someone who is ranked 800 plus in ranked season, when I am consistently between 500-600 then I’m trying to grind out the event and run into someone who just demolishes me because they play on a much higher level than I do constantly. It seems like there can be a way to match you up with people around your skill level in events and BR.

I agree with this. After I lose 2 games in BR and start over I am at the same level as before so if I match on the high end of the range my first game is going to be a loss. Then I go to a lower level and find opponents that are close to my level. I guess they reset levels as some sort of effort to combat sandbagging to low levels, but it makes my 2 loss runs less fun. If they would preserve level between drafts we would all find our level of players and be more fair all around.

we ware off-topic, but the game is designed to only have skill-match-rating in the event-type.
So it matches you in ranked according to your search-routine and your skill-level at ranked.
If you play BR, your ranked-level does not matter at all. It matches you according to the specific BR-rank
Same applies to eventsI personally do like it because BR and events are on lower difficulties, where anything is possible. I went flawless in BR once and I lose about every 3-6th game in events/BR … doesn‘t matter

Your best move is to simply ignore or block that troll. I dislike many things that SDS does, but he goes beyond extreme. Maybe if everyone stopped responding to it, the troll would go away and seek attention elsewhere.
