Injury Time added to estimation

Two weeks into my 2nd season, Lourdes Gurriel Jr broke his forearm so I put him on my 60 Day DL. The injury time estimate was 1-2 months.
I'm starting week 8 of the season now and his injury time went from 1-6 days to 3-4 weeks, which is longer than his list time. What's up with that? I know last season when George Springer was injured, he was on 1-6 days estimated for over two weeks.
Is this a problem everyone has, or is it just me? This is my first time playing franchise in The Show. I've never had this issue in 20 years of playing franchise in NHL games.

1-6 days was how much time he was injured. Once he healed, the time turned to how much time he had left for the 60 days. That happens when the injury heals before the IL stint is over.

Ah, I see now. It just happened to Biggio who went from 1-6 days to 3-4 weeks, with 23 days days list time left. I wasn't sure if the game has like reassessments or rehab setbacks to sometimes add time for realism.
Reading up on how the injured list works, you can basically keep a player on the 10-Day for over 60-Days so long as you keep putting them back on it, which looks to be the best option for 1-2 month injuries. Maybe the game that clear back when I started my franchise like 6 months ago...Oh well. I'm still playing good baseball without him. I can survive the next 17ish games. Thanks!
