Starting Kraken today, any tips?

I’ve been putting this off, along with a couple of other maps. Is it worth the time? Will I get any cards or packs unique to that map? What’s the best way to tackle it?

I have nothing else left to do (besides Extreme, the last three big collections, and the current program), so I figured I’d finally take it on.

I just did it like a week ago, honestly was not bad and I barely play above Veteran level. Steal fans from the stronghold you're moving to take.

Look up on youtube. I beleive Ance had the tips that I used. If I remember go right from your stronghold and make a backwards C. But try to get two knocked out on the first turn and then steal fans from the next location. It was actually pretty easy. Once you get those initial steal fans and steal strongholds in so many turns you can then slow play it like usual. In terms of games, just work the count. They will walk you or throw you a meatball when they get behind.

Thanks. I was just looking at the goals and saw all of the turn-based requirements. I will check out that YT video.

Thanks for the advice @AlexTheGreater7_XBL and @mubby33_MLBTS. I was able to get all of the turn-based goals done by the 5th turn. Now it's just working my way through the map. This freakin' huge map.

Make sure you get the steals too, I think it's 9 fans by the 9th turn

I had them by the 5th turn. That is only three steals on AS.

I'm finding the map to be very aggressive. Fans without a stronghold (one's I've already taken) multiply during the Reinforce portion of the move. I've never seen that before. Usually (at least what I'm used to) the fans will be static once the stronghold is taken. This is causing me to go back and reinforce around strongholds I've taken, so I don't have to take them again.

I have KC, TB, Washington, and the Marlins left to take. I'm about ready to begin the Washington game now. I don't think I'll finish the map today, but I've got a large portion of it done.

Beware the Kraken!
It has swallowed entire fleets!
I once witnessed it destroy the Roman ships of Marc Antony in one swoop of it's mighty tail.

But alas, the Kraken has been defeated. I was given the correct and safest trade route to sneak behind the beast and take it down. It no longer haunts this MLBTS gamer.
