Nintendo Switch Y, B & A buttons not working to hit

On the switch I can use the buttons on other games so it's not a joy con issue, and they work on the menu screens when setting up my games, but when i go to hit nothing happens. Y- Power Swing, A-Contact Swing & B-Normal Swing Do Not work. I am only able to bunt. This is for all game modes. Help!

Side note: The software is updated and I've reset the cache and even reformatted my SD Chip (and re-downloaded the game again). Nothing has helped.

Never had that weird of a problem. What hitting type are you using and have you tried some others to see if it makes a difference? Also, less likely to matter but what hitting view are you using?

I use both directional and zone hitting on my Switch, and those buttons work for me while hitting. Maybe do a hard reset or uninstall and reinstall the game?
