What the hell happened to showdown??
-
It’s gotten a little difficult. In the beginning it was great defense, but now the pitchers become dot doctors when you are threatening to beat the showdown
-
Well I won't be playing that mode again.
-
I haven’t seen any differences, still pretty easy honestly.

You must be the only one.

I just gave up after winning a few just because i had 3 perfect/perfect with 95mph+ and 2 of then straight to the 2nd base and 1 to left field. I just dont get it. Perfect, means nothing.
-
I just did 1st Inning Showdown and got screwed over. I was playing a three inning game to get hits. I didn’t get a 3rd inning at-bat in the bottom of the inning after pitching the top. Who do I complain to for getting cheated?

Ever wonder if there is a certain percentage of successful showdown rounds allowed per day, sort of like like pack odds?
Like, if some users successfully complete X number of NL West showdowns then everyone else gets ultra hard mode NL West showdowns for the rest of the day? Lol
Just a theory!

I think they buffed the sliders on showdown...plain and simple and everything that I've read about it 90%, of the people are done with it. I think eventually they'll adjust it back to what it was.
-
I’m not having this issue man it still seems pretty easy.

I thought this happened to me, but there is a challenge where you are playing as the home team. If you are leading going into the final inning, you only end up getting 2 innings to hit in. I learned that I had to watch that get creative with a way for them to tie the game without giving up a bomb

Maybe lol. I have 9 fotf so far but there are still times that no matter what I do it seems like I'm going to lose no matter what. I just had a go where I couldn't even get a hit against the first mini boss. Didn't matter if it was squared up or what the timing was, everything found a glove. Who knows for sure though.

It's bait and switch. They make it hard to try and up sales. They'll make it easy again. The thing is whether it's global or local (based on user profile). Don't try to rationalize it and don't over think it... It's all a scam. All the companies are doing it including SDS. They're not the exception. They're as crooked as the rest of them.
Play or don't play, just accept it. There's no shame either way. There's nothing you can do, but don't pretend this nonsense is legit (because you want to be a game changer or something).

I just was doing the showdown mission vs Clevinger. I think I had 20 outs to score four runs? Anyway, yeah I did the old take until two strikes and beat it with ten outs to go on an rbi groundout.
The whole time I was just thinking how dumb it is that the best way for me to win the challenge is to not swing the bat.
Sometimes I just get bored and want to swing because, well, that’s the fun part! The fact that the cpu pitchers are SO stingy (sliders turned up I guess?) is a bit ridiculous.
I’m not here to take anything away from the guys that are enjoying the challenge, but for me personally, it isn’t that much fun.

The defense is not even on legend mode its on god mode. Pitchers are not on all star mode because they paint the corners so much and a perfect perfect is usually a fly ball warning track out.

It is amazing how many times I fly out to the warning track in that mode.
