Lot of post are jostled ,censored and removed even,not a major beef but I have experienced it. Sometimes the politically incorrect statements can be the most profound. Free Speech is based on that principal. This forum is essentially the only discussion site existing since communities were abolished. My how SDS got muddragged in those. Dont run down Ceaser in his own parlor son.

I dont care about the forum or communities, I miss having them on playstation but don't throw around the "free speech" nonsense. That doesn't apply here. They OWN this forum and have thier own rules for it which you agreed to when you set up an account. I hate when people cry free speech on a private forum.

As somebody that used to visit these forums daily for the past 6+ years, this game cycle has been the worst in history in terms of moderation, SDS overall presence and consistency in what little moderation has taken place.
I don't know what purpose another vehicle for game discussion would provide. I do know that since this is their "official" forum, they need to do a lot better job with it than the last two seasons, but this one in particular.
Having been involved in online gaming for over 25+ years, a game company has community members that can drive discussion and keep a player base engaged as well as "moderated" without having to pay or provide perks to those community members.
Communities are just a tool to have discussions that are helpful, stimulating and also entertaining. All building a true sense of community where, when you run into somebody in game that you recognize from a forum, you get excited about it.
That is when you know that your official forum, or your community is a success.
