Is the max stub count that you can hold at one time 5mil stubs or is it more? I have a few sell orders about to go through and I don't want to lose my stubs

Yes, $5m like @eatyum_PSN said.

However, you can "bank" your stubs. I put in a whole bunch of orders for Finest Mike Trout at $50k apiece to bring my stub balance down. That way, you can sell without hitting the 5m limit.
