So based on where your PCI was placed and how Joey has an upward power swing and likely had a much larger top PCI maker then this contact results make sense as you got on top of the ball and not under it resulting in the Good Ok.
Happens to me all the time in Showdown when I use guys like Cruz and Soliar so I just always look low so I stay under the ball and can get the best chance for lift

You guys ever got anything to say to dispute the issues we bring forward? It’s just the same comments that don’t provide anything worthwhile. Why is that?

It’s a video game my guy. It’s not perfect, but it’s still the best baseball out there BY FAR. Every time something doesn’t go 100% your way, you come on here and whine about. It’s nauseating. Nobody wants to hear it. You act like the game has it out for you to lose and everything is a conspiracy theory. Just stop. I’ve played this game for years. Showdowns aren’t hard and hitting is not broken. For what it’s worth, my last two RS games I put up 28 runs in the first inning and 11 in the first inning of the other. The game is not the problem... you are.
I’m the reason why middle PCI hits are “Okay” contact? Interesting.
Again, do you think that hit should result in Okay contact with the exit velocity less than the pitch? If so, YOU are the problem and contribute to why SDS has no reason to put out a legit game.
Well, I’m 10-0 so far in RS, so pretty sure I’m not the problem lol. Have fun whining, though

1st time Stanton and Verdugo were my MVPs. Faced off Cole at like 7-15
2nd time. Chapman got me thru the pitching missions .. faced Cole at 14-15.Please tell me you had a diamond round with only pitchers, and didn’t actually choose Chapman over a diamond hitter.

So does anyone know the tricks to beating the showdowns. Besides letting the pitchers energy run down... I usually get the the last one on each showdown and can’t seem to put it away!

Because out of 100 balls you squared up, 99 probably had exit velocities of 100+ mph that you didn’t post. Instead, you cherry picked the one that didn’t go your way and decided to start a useless thread to cry about it.

Yeah this time I did. Change it up a bit. It was FOTF Snell, Sale, Chapman and Brooks Robinson. Noone special.
You get enough Great hitters throughout. Still ended up with Stanton, Diamond Sanchez, Bogaerts, the new Dewey Evans and JD Martinez -

This is kind of why I just play March 2 October. I find that if you can just get out of April, the mode becomes so much more fun when you start trading for guys.
