If you want to get rid of one card and pick up another one, that is already available via the market. Everyone that plays the game sets the value for those cards. What you're proposing isn't necessary and would only lead to nefarious actions.

They have already implemented a method for trading that circumvents the potential for abuse: sell your card and use the stubs to buy a new one.
