Tips on pitching please

What makes Sinkers & Cutters “META”? My main pitches I have success with are mainly fastball, slider, and a bit of circle change or change up. Those are my main pitches I use for the most part.

Where do you throw Sinkers and Cutters? And what makes them so effective? And what pitches do you use with them to disguise them? I LOVE Nolan Ryan”s fastball with his circle change for instance.

Sinkers I only throw up in the zone now. They were getting crushed every time I threw them low. Cutters I throw away from same sided hitters and in on opposite sided hitters. Up in the zone too. They get crushed any other way it seems.
