September Monthly Awards - Topps Now Mission

Does anyone know why the collection rewards for September Topps Now (Anthony Santander, Kolten Wong, Joe Ryan, Yoan Moncada, & Jake McCarthy) don't count towards the Stage 2 Topps Now Mission?

I just finished a game with Joe Ryan where I had 20 K's and earned 700 PXP and it said I only earned 350 PXP for the game?

Because that is how the game is programmed.

I thought all the other months the cards did work for the mission ?

Someone said it's only the ones that are in the Stage 1 path.

Actually it looks like 3 / 5 of the players do apply toward the mission
