Homerun after a walk....
-
Is this a late inning glitch? Someone posted this last night, I walked a guy in the 7th, and the following AB didn’t feel smooth at all, then low and behold a slider in on the hands is turned on for a homerun. This game is interesting.

I seem to notice something similar. When your SP is cruising late in the outing, a walk or bloop hit is usually followed by a big hit that changes the game instantly
-
LMAO 2 in one game. YIKES. This is laughable at this point.
-
Well if your pitcher is getting tired, gives up a walk or some hits, his confidence goes down, pitches are going same places, pci is bigger... makes sense

My pitcher isn’t tired. It was my closer. He walked a guy, next pitch over the wall with 2 outs.

Your closer in the 7th? Cool

“It happened again. Yikes” was with the closer in the 9th. Do you read a thread or just post?
-
Your opening post said 7th inning. I actually do read. Do you?

Had a game yesterday where I was up 3 runs in the last inning. 3-0 got 1 quick out and then error in right field with an animation bug. Ok switch pitchers to closer. Error in left field with same animation glitch. Ok dont panic yet, still fresh arm and ya know the guy hasn't hit me all game. WRONG. hanging slurve by osuna and womp 3-3 ball game. Oh boy, after that I exhausted my pen just trying to get a strike for 2 innings to lose because I walked 2 guys with 0 outs. It did in all honestly feel like the game was literally stacked against me

This same thing happened to me last week. Took a 1 hitter into the 9th. Maddux had 80 pitches, lead off hit. Swap to a fresh arm. Game tied. Lost it in late innings.

I lost a game when the other team scored more runs then me too! Dang! I’ve also never had a situation when I came back and won a game in the 9th inning, only happens against me... C’mon man!

I understand what he’s saying. People definitely deserve some of their comebacks but sometimes it’s so predictable all you can do is laugh.

7th inning or later comback logic is scripted into game, 100%

Buddy hasn’t played I guess

It has for sure happened to me, and I was frustrated. I have also come back to win at the end of games.
I am just saying comeback logic goes both ways, and it is just easier to remember the bad ones!

If you walk a batter your pitching confidence goes down. Harder to hit spots.
My gripe is when I do hit my spot and it still lobs a meatball down the middle
-
If y’all haven’t noticed...fair warning... this game is getting more realistic. So if your pitcher is below 50% and the confidence is high still it only takes 1 little bloop or walk etc to shoot that confidence down quick! So if your in late innings make sure you have a pitcher ready you are confident with! Honestly when I noticed this I started stretching or warming pitchers in the 5th or 6th just to make sure the meatball is kept to a minimum b
