A lot of people are finding out that they’re not as good as they thought they were in 18 and 19, are there some issues with fielding and pitching? Yea there are, but hitting is pretty [censored] close to being great.
Also, CB5 has been a constant complainer since the game got more popular and people started to pass him in the game.
The first two players to make WS are agreeing that hitting is broken. Since that's not you, I'll agree with them and the majority of the community.

I'm not upset, I just find it interesting that you want to slurp Kyle after he said he's getting 19 vibes yesterday, but the last 2 weeks has been, the game is good people just need to get better and we finally have a skill gap. People can dislike the game all they want, that's fine, I just find the whole game is trash complaint coming from people 30 games under .500 hitting .205 to be a little tiresome and maybe you're just not that good. Yea, maybe that takes away from your enjoyment of the game, but that doesn't make the game trash.
If you're looking at my stats and making assumptions, that might be part of the confusion here. I'm not great at the game, I believe in 9-2 in RS right now. I don't enjoy low scoring games full of strike outs. Winning 2-1 isn't fun for me.
My 11 year old step son plays on my account far more than I do(He is home due to school closings, I'm an essential employee), so you can speak with him about the account stats if you'd like

Currently I'm averaging 6 runs per game, so I guess I bought a different game because I don't have these 2-1 strikeout filled games, maybe I bought the off brand version, I don't know.

I've enjoyed the game at both stages, I like that pitch speeds are faster than 19, I like that off speed pitches seem slower than 19, I like that the analog meter moves a ton quicker than 19, I like that I'm hitting .375 in ranked right now, I like that my losses on hall of fame seem to be just that MY losses. I like that I've only had one moment so far where I was like I should have been rewarded better for that swing (bottom 3 event game, down 1, runners on first and second, slider down the D to Olson, good squared middle of the PCI, caught at the wall) I've enjoyed the game the whole year.

I don't mind the hitting because it is just like normal baseball fans like the HR ball. That being said I was alot better at pitching last year than this year. Last year I had a group of guys I could go out and dominate with and have 10+ strikeouts a game and that was online but lose a game because I just couldn't score a run. Now I have been able to hit more HR but giving up 3+ runs a game. I use meter pitching because I find I can be more accurate with it but when I have a good release point and I have the baseball located at the top inside corner I should be able to dot it right there not have it got above for a ball.
Also I play on personality of the umpires so it is more like a real game. However I am on the edges of the zone and getting balls called but the cpu gets them called strikes.

I am going to chime in on this. I will start by saying, I am a below avg. to avg. player at best. 19 was my first year playing RS and I started 40-120. Through practice. I managed to play a few games above .500 from that point. I believe I finished 172-236. Got to 500 rating a few times and 600 rating twice.
So i was really looking forward to 20. I grind out a team the first week and decide to jump into rank. I start 9-3 458 rating....I am hitting the ball well, Pitching is good. I feel like hey. I might become an above avg. player this year. So over the next week I grind out some more content. To get players to fill the weak spots and jump back in the next weekend.
All of a sudden, I can't hit or pitch. I am getting trashed on. It feels like when i started playing 19 all over again. I ended up going 1-7 in my next 8 and the one win was only because the guy quit before the first pitch.
I don't mind losing, But going from playing well to lets just call it what it is. To being pathetic. Sucks to be blunt. Something wrong with the meta all the way around. Maybe. The last thing I want is the game to cater to little billy. But at the same time. Even if i am losing I should be enjoying myself. Right now I am not. Just my 2 cent. Which is not worth the copper they are stamped on. -

And despite only being able to throw pitches right down the middle or 2 ft outside a lot of times, I am the same player I have always been.
Maybe watch a pitching tips video then
Don't need to. Been pitching fine for years. Happening on certain days no matter what I do. Hitting is tremendous when compared to pitching, fielding and baserunning.
So willfully just being ignorant then instead of saying hey maybe I could learn something and get better.
Not really sure what I can learn when balls are going right over middle or way outside. I have tried every pitching method and connection I can. Even tried several different analog methods. I know where I want to put the balls. Some reason with this game I can't get them there no matter what I do.

I'm not 30 games under .500 or hitting .205. My big issues are pitching, fielding and baserunning, mainly pitching. I'll be around the same place I always am regardless of what they do.

The pitching is really bad though. They give guys that swing at every pitch flailing striking out 16-20 times meatballs on perfect meters. That’s gotta go. The hitting is good. It needs a slight boost imo. Very slight.

Idk man...you seem to be backing up your comments with a lot of assumptions. I'm above .500 and hitting for a higher average than I ever had (between .280 and .290). I was a WS player in '15, I think. It was the last year before RS when you had to get to 2000 to be WS. I've made WS multiple times every year since then in the RS format. This year I can't get out of Wild card lol. My ERA is almost a run and a half higher than it normally is. Over the last three games I've given up 19 hits...11 of those were HRs. Newhouser is my top pitcher and 11of the 28 hits he's given up have been HRs. Something is really wrong.

A lot of people are finding out that they’re not as good as they thought they were in 18 and 19, are there some issues with fielding and pitching? Yea there are, but hitting is pretty [censored] close to being great.
Also, CB5 has been a constant complainer since the game got more popular and people started to pass him in the game.
The first two players to make WS are agreeing that hitting is broken. Since that's not you, I'll agree with them and the majority of the community.

I'm a member/mod on his stream. We did have a lot of fun! Lots of people were there, and we got lots of new subs.

I'm not upset, I just find it interesting that you want to slurp Kyle after he said he's getting 19 vibes yesterday, but the last 2 weeks has been, the game is good people just need to get better and we finally have a skill gap. People can dislike the game all they want, that's fine, I just find the whole game is trash complaint coming from people 30 games under .500 hitting .205 to be a little tiresome and maybe you're just not that good. Yea, maybe that takes away from your enjoyment of the game, but that doesn't make the game trash.

The game is tougher than it has been the last 3 years, pitches are faster, the pitching meter moves wayyy faster, being a world series player last year means nothing to this game.

I was wrong, the game is still very rewarding you just have to be better at it to be rewarded. I'm willing to admit when I was wrong, other people it seems are not willing.
