I maxed out a few days ago. I'm taking the opportunity to finish the BR program and get all of those new cards before the new collection comes out.
I’m in the same position as the op. First program I have maxed out on. I’ve never finished a BR program, or even really started one. Any tips for completing it for someone who isn’t good enough to go 12-0? Will doing some runs with 6 or so wins be good enough to eventually get it done?

If you can get six wins a run, you can finish it pretty quick. My guess would be around five entries. BR has always been my favorite mode, but I am burned out right now and this will probably be the first one I haven’t done in two years.

I maxed out on monday, kept going to work on the extreme program, got Cano last night so i'll try him out tonight and then maybe wait until the new program starts.

Do you draft the guys with missions? Or just best team possible? What’s the HR bonus? think I have 4 in two games so far

I did the conquest maps. I wanted the packs and cards from them.
-
Here's what I did:
- I'm at 249 innings in RS
- I'm one win away from Mini Season championship
- I'm 5 wins away from 30,000 XPs in BR.
- I'm one game away from mid season in MTO
I'm a planner...

I usually average 6-8 wins in an entry and I've finished every BR program so far. It doesn't take that long to finish, and I find it more enjoyable than ranked. This year there are guaranteed mission rounds, and they come up in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rounds of the draft. Just make sure you don't accidentally select a diamond version of one of the cards in the first round (ex. HRD Stanton). That will prevent you from getting the guaranteed round with him in it. If you draft strategically, leaving positions open that go with some of those mission guys, sometimes you can get lucky and end up with 4-5 of them in a single entry.
I focus on the PXP and milestone type missions, like the 10 HR in a single entry. Winning is obviously great too, but the missions are what will get you to the top. The overall PXP missions will just come with time, so don't stress over those. If you go down big in your elimination game and you don't expect to make a come back, consider putting in a mission pitcher if you have one. Even if their stamina is shot. That will give you one last chance to earn PXP for strikeouts and innings pitched before redrafting. In my last run I left Hamels in there to make sure he got enough PXP so I wouldn't need to draft him again.
If you are one to give up early, make sure you don't quit before you get through the lineup at least once. I think you lose any PXP you earned if you don't make it that far.
As for regular drafting strategies, I'm sure there are plenty of people that have given breakdowns on YouTube. I usually try look for diamond in the rough type guys like LS Daniel Vogelbach or Albert Pujols. Perfect bench bats, especially when they have a good inside edge. Try to grab a common or bronze speed option in case you need a pinch runner late in the game. I try not to get anyone too slow as a starter in the outfield, and if I get stuck with one, I pick a field that will hide them a bit. Fenway for a slow left fielder, and Sportsman Park for a slow right fielder.
Some people may not agree with this next recommendation, but tank the rotation with bronze and commons and don't even touch them unless you need a mission starter. Starters tend to have lower H/9 and K/9 compared to relievers, and stamina regenerates differently for starters and relievers. You could completely exhaust a reliever, and he'll be back to 100% after one game off. A starter could still have stamina left when pulled, and he'll still need a few games to recover. Not worth it in my opinion. People have complained about openers in BR before, but that's on SDS. I don't think you can really blame people for trying to get the most bang for their buck when it comes to pitching.
I try to get 5-6 solid silver/gold relievers I trust, or even a bronze with a decent inside edge. Use 2-3 one game, the other 2-3 the next, rinse and repeat, I very rarely draft a diamond pitcher, but if i do, it's a reliever and it's because the hitters in that round sucked. 99 Chapman is solid, but honestly the silver LS will get the job done in BR just as well most of the time.

If I finish early, I take a break. I'm some 45K away and could use the available collection cards to get me the rest of the way if I need to. I dont want to lock in Chapman, or Mookie, though. My issue is the late program packs always get me nothing!

@PennStateFencer already mentioned a lot of the things I will mention and his gameplan is awesome. I definitely use mission guys and I look at the program before I start to kind of see how I want to go about it. I typically start with one pitcher and two hitters from the mission guys, but sometimes you will get an extra in that will pop up in later rounds.
I always look for players/swings I do well with regardless of the tier, but I do the same as he said and only draft bronze starters....unless it is a mission starter. I typically draft silver relievers and try and save as many gold and diamond for hitters as possible. I never use diamonds on hitters, but I will definitely use silvers when it is a player I do well with. With relievers it is full of silvers like I mentioned, but sometimes there is a bronze that I know I do well with and will grab them without hesitation. I try and fill my bench with a solid bat against lefties and a solid bat against righties, these can often be bronze if the right ones show up. I also keep at least one or two bronze/common speed guys and I like to keep a bronze/common catcher. This helps if I get a slow catcher on late in the game, I can run for them and then have a defensive replacement available.
I could definitely go more in depth, but I feel most of the things I would say have already been said by @PennStateFencer. His approach is very similar to mine.

Why not Mookie? He's non-sellable anyway.

Thanks for the tips guys. I only got three wins my first entry - so it’s going to be a grind lol

This is the first time I have finished a program early. What do you all do while you are waiting for the next program to drop? I feel like I’ll just be wasting the xp if I finish the September POTM moments. Any tips?
Build brxlz ans lego sets

Some suggestions not mentioned and in no particular order but go outside for some fresh air and sunshine, go for a walk, read a book, watch a movie, write a letter to someone, phone a friend.
