It's that time again Gentlemen. Here is the Dragon's predictions for the legends of the franchise program coming next Friday
Orioles: Brooks Robinson
Reds Sox: Jim Rice
Yankees: Jorge Posada
Rays: Guaranteed Milestone Boggs unless legends of the franchise means every team but they Rays like TA4 was last year
Blue Jays: Roy Halladay
White Sox: Paul Konerko
Guardians: Bob Feller
Tigers: Curtis Granderson
Royals: Guaranteed Saberhagen
Twins: Torii Hunter
Astros: JR Richard
Angels: Tim Salmon
A's: Rickey Henderson
Mariners: Edgar Martinez
Rangers: Michael Young
Braves: Maddux
Marlins: Sheffield
Mets: Seaver
Phillies: Rollins
Nationals: Gary Carter
Cubs: Sandberg
Reds: Morgan
Brewers: Coin flip Molitor/Fielder
Pirates: Ralph Kiner
Cardinals: Bob Gibson
D-Backs: Steve Finley
Rockies: Todd Helton
Dodgers: Shawn Green
Padres: Hoffman
Giants: McCoveyYou should edit this post after they show the choices. Maybe put a checkmark if you're prediction was correct and an X after your prediction and the one they chose after the incorrect predictions. Just to see how you do.
Yeah good call. I'll do that
Over/under I bet you get 20 right.
I'll take the over, but not by much. I can only miss 6 more.
You've missed 2 so far yeah?
I forgot about Ray Durham as a possibility for the White Sox. I know you're going Konerko and that's probably more likely but I'd love a 99 Durham.
2 of what has been revealed. I guessed Green for the Dodgers
Curious if you have a backup guess for the Dodgers?
Also -- I saw your list only has 1 RP. Thoughts on Reds going with a 99 Rob Dibble? We haven't seen his better card yet and while Morgan absolutely deserves a 99 card (as is more of a franchise legend than Dibble) I feel like SDS would sprinkle in a few RPs some place.
Also, are we thinking Hank Aaron will be released as a program or further BR/WS reward? Feels like he would be prime candidate for Braves.

They don't ever go out of their way for RPs on these. There's never more than 1 or 2(AS Program doesn't count because every reliever in that program except Diaz was the only allstar on their team). Backup guess for the dodgers is Hershiser though

Fair. The AS program does have a lot of RPs due to limited options but we did get 3 with the FOTF program though to start the year (Williams, Clase, Chapman).
Obviously the future stars don't count because all the top pitching prospects are SPs.

Cliff Lee, Ray Durham, Alan Trammell, Torii Hunter, Saberhagen for the AL Central 5/10(6misses) total for me so over 20 right not looking so good
-
Pretty excited about Durham. I used this prime card for quite a while.
Durham and Posada. I'm already satisfied with the program. The rest is a bonus.
-
Only card I might be excited for is Trammell possibly of these or Cliff Lee and also Posada. Never really used Durham much or Cy Young.
Saberhagen is a no for me lol.
I'm interested to see what Shawn green will be like only as a Jays fan.I'm pretty underwhelmed besides that though for this program.
The main two cards for me are Posada and Trammell lol. -

I would have to say Pudge for the Rangers. Only the Takashi card so far I think.
I want them to make a Pudge card that actually plays much better than past cards. Even when his attributes are good, the card has a glitch defensively, and I never get exit velocity with him.
He is absolutely one of the best, maybe the best, catcher I have got to see play. He was something to watch. No doubt he was special, watched him from his first game against the White Sox throwing Lance Johnson out by a mile to his last game.
His cards have always played lower to his stats and I know I struggled with him also. That's why the choice for the other teams might make it difficult to pick him, if he is the Rangers guy. -
Kinda meh for me so far. No one I’m real interested in using yet.
-
Only card so far that will make my lineup currently is the posada card. Trammel lacks power and I everything was a line out for me with his other card. None of this cards are going to be end game cards but if this program is going to last a month like the last 30 card programs they should have better cards in there. In 4 weeks we will be into the post season and which is towards the end of the year for IRL content.

Most of the "better" cards from those they have licensing in have close to 99 type cards already. For legends at least. There may be a few who have not but if they used them now what would they have left through December?

I'm not saying everyone has to be end game cards but they should release them every so often so we can you use that card for longer in the game cycle. Put Foxx in as a legend so we can use him or Mickey. I know they are waiting for the end of the year or atleast when Pujols hits his 700 HR to release him as a 99. But Boggs as the TB legend come on.
Only legend there was if he got signed to put a TB cap on his HOF plaque.

I definitely think we'll get some end game type cards. I'm gonna say once they are all announced the ones everyone gets super excited for will be:
Angels- Vlad Guerrero Sr.
A's- Jimmie Foxx
Mets- Carlos Delgado
Phillies- Rollins or Halladay
Braves- Possibly Hank
Reds- Joe Morgan
Brewers- Prince Fielder
Cardinals- Bob Gibson (If they make his card great)
Padres- Gwynn or Hoffman
Dodgers- HerschiserThose are just some guesses. Honus could be the Pirates legend, or Larkin for the Reds and we'll get Larkin Rips 2.0
I agree this won't be the program loaded with Mays and Ruth but there should be plenty of solid options.
Personally I'm stoked about Durham, Hunter, Posada and Brooks could be lots of fun too. Don't sleep on Green having a butter swing.

Unfortunately they do not have any legends really. David Price but he is still active as is Longo. McGriff falls in the same as Boggs. They do not own Carl Crawford. Looks to be same with Zobrist.

Brother I saw your guess earlier for the Giants, If they put out Christy Mathewson I'm gonna riot. His cards are always useless and dust collectors. McCovey or nothing

99 Johnny Gomes?
The Rays actually would have some good options if everyone was available, but the current crop they have representing them is pretty terrible. Carl Crawford/Scott Kazmir/Ben Zobrist/Carlos Peña/BJ Upton would be solid.

I much prefer McCovey in real life, but I wouldn't mind having a 99 Brian Wilson with outlier.
