I'm Hoping so badly that SDS will have something to offer with a separate Ranked Season Play limited to ONLY Live Series Current players. Bad enough they dont have a Franchise Online Mode anymore. But to me SDS goes way way to overboard with all these Retired Players & Multiple version cards of current active players. Would be nice to play others online with just Live Series only to make the game more genuine & realistic.

To me having all these retired players & multiple versions of current players is more fantasy due to the stats of those cards being so juiced up & hyped up that does NOT realistically reflect the actual players REAL career performance. Makes it seem that the stats of the card & popularity of the player is the lure to get & use those cards even though it's not very realistic or practical.

I really enjoy Online play the most within the 1st & 2nd month because the game has not yet been flooded yet with all these type of cards that are either earned or purchased.

Was just wondering if anyone feels similar to this.

I dont know why the 15 of you that miss online franchise are making such a fuss over this recently. It’s a very vocal minority that actually likes using LS cards. The rest of us play DD for the legends

I personally love using legends way more than live series. Diamond dynasty isn't made to be a hyper-realistic mode. I like being able to have Edmonds and Pujols on the same team (technically Pujols is a current player, but obviously not his LS).

I love seeing multiple versions of the player, active or retired. I want to see more Topps/Bowman cards from years past and fewer Sig Series/Immortal-type cards.
But, I do see your point. Live Series cards were almost useless come May.

I'm NOT saying for SDS to Stop making these types of cards because I know the majority the plays DD loves these types of cards & it's as well a big time cash cow for SDS. But the minority of us that want something related to Online Franchise or a separate kind of Ranked Season for "Live Series ONLY", we should be able to have that. We spent money to buy this game & feed more money in SDS's bank accounts. So they can at least have modes that will 1 can choose which 1 they prefer to play & enjoy most & why.

I'm NOT asking SDS to take away what you guys love. Just asking SDS to add an other option for those out there wanting that.

They don't put too many Bowman cards in the game, but there are some. That 1951 Willie Mays is a Bowman. So is the All-Star Ralph Kiner. They do include some newer ones once in a blue moon like the Luis Severino rookie from last year and the 2011 Aroldis Chapman rookie. I've also seen a 1989 Bowman of Steve Finley... the common Orioles card from 17.

I respect that. I never got into Franchise, but I know there was a dedicated following for online franchise, and it stinks it was taken away.

Not this whole thing again. Last week you went on about something similar if not the same and I provide a alternative. Ultimately you are upset with not being able to play and earn the same cards everyone else has. DD is a live content game it will never survive unless there is content through out the year which is not something that can be done with just live players even just one mode. So understand that what you are requesting an looking for in no way would help SDS make content and by extension of that money.

But hey what do I know

I think SDS does a great job with cards, and limiting the amount of cards one player has. I recently got into Hockey Ultimate Team, and there's several players that have 5-7 cards.

One of the reasons I love playing DD is the fact there are legend cards in the game.

I'm all for juicing up the live series cards if they deserve it, but I think if you took out legend players, some people honestly wouldn't play DD.

Lol another idiot that never played OF but talks down about it. You can use legends, LS or whatever made up Coach Murphy cards you want in OF. You dont need to grind every day or spend a dollar to use them either. You can even change the sliders for those “secret patches” SDS puts out.

Just tell it like it is, you want no part of building a baseball team on a equal playing field as everyone else. You certainly don’t want to have a player get injured and be at a disadvantage. You want your friendly quits when you see a tough pitcher and to build your team based around who the forum tells you to use. Bravo
