Rosters not being updated

Every single edition since 2018, rosters aren't up to date unless I start the game from the PS4 home screen then start it up. If I already had a franchise I was in the middle of a game as and backed out to start a new one, the rosters would revert to an older set. For The Show 22, it doesn't even do that anymore. Soto is still on the Nats, Bader is with the Cards, etc. for franchise mode. This is pathetic. The only time I get up-to-date rosters is whenever the devs push out roster updates. But if I want to start a new franchise, I'm screwed. There's no functional way for their support team to reach out to try to find a solution, nor do they seem to give a [censored] that this happens since it's been an issue since The Show 2018. If they can't patch this 4 years later, I'm deleting this garbage game from my HDD.

You can always force the game to re-download the latest LIVE roster:
Go to: Settings -- File Management -- Load -- Rosters -- LIVE Roster

For safety, I would then SAVE that roster and name it something you will remember. Next time you start a Franchise, simply "Load Saved Rosters" and choose your save file.
