Finally beat Extreme Showdown

After many attempts it’s over! 98 Mantle had 2 solo shots including the game winner. HRD Pujols had a 2 run homer as well. Funny this is I got past Chapman having a guy on 2nd and accidentally left the pitcher in to bat who hit a solid double with 1 out left.

Nice. I'm gonna try this tonight just to see how badly I do. I'm impressed with everyone who can beat it.

Be patient especially on HOF. Chapman, Ryan and Johnson used a lot of off speed pitches to get 3rd strike.

I attempted it 6 times, 6 times made it to chapman, 6 times I failed at Chapman. I will not be attempting it again, the amount of time wasted on it I could have hit the 25k pxp at least twice.

Yeah, but sadly you have to hit it 9 times to equal what you get for showdown.
Trust me the only way I am getting Cano or Donaldson is by 25k pxp, I figure if I keep playing DD through the end of the year, I probably still won't be there.

I hit 12k pxp just doing half the conquest map, haven’t finished it yet, haven’t even started to parallel wood yet. Should be able to knock out at least 5 by the end of the month if I play a couple hours a day.

I've been beat by Nolan Ryan so many times that every time when they have the last out and it shows the animation of him jumping into the catchers arms it's takes everything I have to not drop kick my screen into the wall.
On a side note, has anyone found a common card that you are forced to use in the first couple rounds that is glitchy? I love when they give me the option of switch hitting Drew Waters. Guy has hit a couple tanks in key spots and seems to always get on base.
