THIS SHOWDOWN IS UNBEARABLE. I can’t count how many times I’ve gotten good/perfect hits that have counted as outs/double plays. The furthest I’ve gotten was against Grayson. I lost in the most bs way ever. I was down by 3 with 4 outs left and I had bases full. I hit a perfect ground ball that got caught by a bs dive thy ended into a double play, I got 2 hits after that with with 3 outs left. I hit a perfect to the waring track, I advanced one runner to 3rd but had one on 1st still. The batter I hit a just early foul ball that was foul by 5 feet then the next pitch I hit a good good groundout double play to end it…. I cannot with this game.. if no one believes me I recorded it on my YouTube _landoprooducedit YYallMad

I have really hated Showdown this year, not a snowballs chance I am going to try this.

Showdown would be great if you weren’t rewarded weak flyouts or choppers on good swings. Honestly can say the same about online modes too.

I cakewalked grienke, leiter and helsley and then the 4th one after a 1B 2B and 2R1B decided for some unknown reason that i was gonna swing at every pitch and ended tied at 2. dude was very hittable too,
Ah well i ll get it tomorrow. -
I've attempted it 4 times, the last time finally got to Chapman, hit a double with 4 outs to go to....... anddd failed

I beat it, I skipped Nolan, and beat Randy with 3 outs to go, I don't think I have ever sweated more in my life, my stomach felt like it was going to leap out of my throat

What bothers me is that the game is making decisions like it knows it is broken. 11 outs to go.in a challenge and your are down one, let's walk your best hitter or the opposite handed hitter. I have a hard time elevating low pitches against HOF pitchers. I gave it the old college try again, but it is so random that I feel like I will just need to.play until I get the breaks in a key moment or two.

It wouldn't be so hard if the hitting engine wasn't absolute &^%&^$^!!! The only ones who remotely have a chance at beating this are the elite players who only play on Legend and HOF.

Yah this sounds fun and all but i'm at 75 (working on Griffey Jr moment, 78 when and if i beat that) from there it's only 8 times of 25,500. Should be done some time in earl December lol.

I finally beat it after a lot of tries. I cheesed with speed guys though. Had Rollins, Julio Rod, Jorge Mateo and Eric Davis. Did a lot of bunting and stealing bases. Randy hit me with the bases loaded with 13 outs left for the win.

I have tried a few times and it's absolute BS! Firstly, you have to have extreme luck (no pun intended) with your draft, second they take all skill out of the game. So sick of green timing in the middle of the pci that goes nowhere!!! I am glad SDS is charging 500 stubs per try so that the game can decide your fate for you. I have watched videos of some of the very few who have beat it and it takes some extremely lucky swings. Many of those guys had HR's and clutch hits where the PCI was not even close to middle-middle. So again, the game deciding for them on a lucky run that they will win it.

Showdowns are always a [censored] shoot. They have been like that since they were introduced in 19 or 20. I love it when common and bronze fielders make diving superman catch’s and I can’t make one catch.

I would agree with this... however it is mind boggling how many major leaguers in this game can't lay down a bunt when it's right down the middle of the plate. instead they pop it straight up or burn off a 90mph heater right to the first baseman for a double play anyways.

And take pitches til you get 2 strikes you’d be surprised how many walks you get if you’re patient. This showdown in particular wasn’t made to cheese your way through it. Patience pays off
