Also if it’s repeatable- can you be working on more than one at a time? Like hit 25k pxp with one dude on Monday, then another dude hits it on Tuesday, etc.? Seems like this will encourage people to just play with the same lineup for the rest of the year
it's everyone on your team, not just one guy at a time.

A player like me still won’t be able to do the program… I am more of a. Grind but no where close to any good
If you play DD you will be able to complete the program 25k pxp repeatable is a long grind but it allows you to just play how you want and make progress in the program.
So I can play the game on rookie or veteran get the 25k over and over? Still going take a while but that would help
25K pxp Points is required to get 3 points for the program. if you want to go this route you should finish the program just in time for mlb the show 23 .

The 25k pxp is accumulated from all your players not just one, just play DD and you will make progress on the program, it’s a long grind don’t get me wrong but if you aren’t comfortable doing the moments, showdown or conquest its a way of making progress.

It’s a grind for sure, but if he completes a few of the moment’s and the conquest which isn’t insane either he will be fine. Showdown is going to be out of question for a lot of player’s, as long as they play DD they will be fine.

Yeah showdown looks tough I’ve already failed it 2 times need to get warmed up lol. I agree he could do a couple moments at least and maybe give the Conquest a shot might not be too tough play on Allstar and he can go the pxp route.

Yep, its 3 program points for each 25k, it will take awhile but you can play at your own pace, some of the moments are on veteran and the conquest isn’t to crazy either it will just be a grind.
Can you imagine if someone was short 1000 PXP, on multiple cards, from hitting 25,000; they could finish this in a day or two.

The whole thing kind of is. The first conquest extreme was one of the first content releases that year. The cards were HUGE bonuses that gave you something to play for because you got a pretty big advantage if you beat it. The Yadi card they just released was pretty much released first month in 18 through extreme.
Now it’s 6-10 months in and they just throw some random cards that people may or may not want in but are easily replaceable so feelings don’t get hurt.
Vet moments….we have fkn VET moments and steal fans on ROOKIE like that isn’t what they’ve been making me do all year.
I surprised they didn’t throw in an exchange so the card flippers that don’t even play the game won’t feel left out.
Those extreme programs were from a time when this game was a PS exclusive though, real vets of the series were the target back then. We have to factor in two new platforms in the last two years, I think each year they will make it progressively harder until we are at a hybrid of ‘19 and ‘20 extreme programs.
That really doesn’t have much to do with the fact extreme is now truly just a “other program” that doesn’t really mean much other than you can beat it. The cards just aren’t a huge boost like they used to be and it’s far to late in the year for them to even matter. If I could have got a high Diamond Cano or Donaldson months ago that would be different but “Extreme” rewards shouldn’t be replaceable with quick sell value cards they day it’s comes out.
I have more than 5 starting pitchers with outlier who cares about Kerry Wood? I have multiple outlier LHP pitchers in the pen who cares about Chapman? I have George Brett, Josh Donaldson isn’t even close. Cano is my favourite player in this game so thank god I can actually get a usable card.
It’s just too late again. Extreme should be like everything else and come out multiple times a year. Something at the start for a nice roster boost then go from there.

You are correct on 3 of them. Chapman however will be one of the best relievers for the rest of the game.

But that’s what I mean, for now they aren’t going to release this as a gaming changing program like in year’s past because you have to factor in two new player bases. I think next years program will be earlier and far more challenging with better rewards and will progress from there until we are at the point we were at in ‘19.

I do as well, I am just playing devils advocate, I understand both sides,SDS wants and needs new players to be involved, Vets want a challenge, thus why showdown is still on HOF. This program was always going to be a fine balance and that is probably why we didn’t get one at all last year with the intro of Xbox.

That's not how it works. It accumulates all PXP from whatever players you use starting from scratch regardless of where they already are. It's not like saving up and cashing in XP in a program. Whatever PXP you accrue starting today will count towards it with every card and once you hit 25k it flips over. That's 2 1/2 players p5d. Then I assume you'd have to do that 33 times. It won't be easy but like Jeezy said, everyone will gain progress just for playing.
-
It would be nice if the pitchers actually threw some strikes when you are trying to complete the missions!
-
I kind of love the irony of someone complaining about pitchers not throwing strikes in a thread accusing SDS of making the extreme program, missions and Conquest easier.

Showdown definitely isn’t watered down
The last 2 stages before Randy is going to have a ton of people raging
Chapman on HOF with the game tied is tough but manageable
But facing Ryan on HOF down 2 with 12 outs to work with? Yeah I consider myself a good player and had doubts going in. Still shocked I got past that one
If you can go into the final stage down 25-21, it’s very manageable with 25 outs to work with

Ahh, so it's 25,000 PXP total, not per card, so if i add up the total amount of PXP that they show I earned, on the PXP tab, and it totals 3,000; then that means I have 3,000/25,000 towards my first 3 points.
