[censored] this game man. My opponent who is whiffing at Greinke curveballs the entire game gets rewarded with 2 early swing HRs. My good timing swings in the PCI are just popups. Oh and a perfect swing foul ball HR.
Nah seriously [censored] that.
No one cares for your plight LOL Not sure why people come on here to complain that they lost a game HAHA

Is it better to suck at the game? Well it certainly hasn't resulted in anything positive for me. I am easily among the worst online, and I routinely get matched up against guys that are 200 games over .500 with lineups full of guys with .400 avg 80 HR and get stuck facing Ryan or Degrom every single time.
Then when I get those rare moments where I get a lead either my opponent instantly quits, or the AI decides "darkblue rally stinks, so we will start gifting this other guy hits so he wins." I will then start having pitches despite perfect release point start going all over the place, resulting in a couple of gift walks, forcing me to go further into the zone and sure enough, BAM! Towering, no doubt 400 foot bomb for the other guy.

Does this happen in ranked? Playing dudes that are 200 games over .500? Friendly reminder to hold left when the game is searching for opponents- this will match you up with people who are ranked near where you are ranked
-
For me it happens in all forms. Oddly enough when I get a lower ranked opponent it's even worse. I just played a guy equal to me in rank, but again, the AI decided before the game I was not allowed to win. I hit a squared up ball, caught at the track. He hit not one, but TWO no doubt homers where he golfed pitches that were scraping the dirt.
Then when it looked like I had a chance to stop a rally they gifted him again. He had a slow runner trying to go from first to third on a ball that didn't quite roll into the left field corner. I throw the ball and it gets to the third baseman and his runner was at least a third of the way away from the bag and they STILL called him safe.
I am simply going to play online until I get my needed stuff and then not play online ever gain. Either that or just start cheesing and quitting like everyone else, because it certainly appears that SDS rewards that. Yes, I admit I am on tilt, but honestly, I have come to the conclusion that there is exactly zero skill in this game. It is every bit as rigged as carnival games. So glad I didn't buy this years game.

https://mlb22.theshow.com/games/322584949?username=mfundercoverIf anything that box score proves my point. Game had to force a 2-1 game with 6 hits on each side. He had one good swing then entire game. The other HR came on an early swing on the curveball. Dude was swinging out of his shoes the whole game.
Too bad they dont record good hits because that would tell the whole story. I'll take the strike outside when I'm getting solid hits every inning. He wasnt.
And my perfect foul ball came in another game.
Idk why yourendefending this game bro. It sucks and everyone knows it.

Exactly.
I'm finding it harder and harder to manufacture runs too. Like, after I get a couple good hits in a row and guys on base NOTHING will drop even if its timed well, in the zone, and in the PCI. The game doesnt want a rally.
And if one team gets ahead THEN the hits will start coming to even up the game.
Lol at the people defending the game in here. Its obviously broken.

Whenever I get a rally, it seems to be from cheap fluke hits that I didn’t deserve.
If you square the ball up, it’s either an out (warning track shot or lineout), or a home run. The chances of you stringing together 4-5 solid hits in an inning are rare because more likely than not, you’re going to have a ball you couldn’t have hit much better smoked right into a double play.

He just proved my point by posting that box score. The difference in this game was an early swing on a curveball out of the zone. That's not something to defend the game. If hes whiffing at the curveball all game he shouldn't be rewarded by whiffing at the curveball early.Admittedly I was whiffing at the cutter and slider in, but I didnt get a homerun on one of those.
And if you could see the amount of good hits that died at the track theres just no way I should have lost that game. He left a lot of cutters up and over the plate that should have been hits.
People who think there should be no negative feedback are so cute.

Honestly I think just not playing ranked seasons helps alot with this. I pretty much exclusively play events with some BR just for the program and I don't feel like this BS happens have as much as some claim it does

Me too. I'm just focusing on BR for online this year, and I would say the game outcomes are "fair". In RS, I've certainly been on both sides - win when I shouldn't, lose when I shouldn't. RS just feels weird to me.

Do me a favor go to YouTube watch a video by Mcgunski or Kyle or cbrev or any of the content creators
Watch how many balls they hit and runs they score then come back and tell me the game doesn’t work
Is it 100% perfect- of course not
You may be over estimating how good you are at the game
-
I don’t think the game is perfect there are a few head scratchers that happen. Like this morning in an events game the HRD Soto. High fastball I was early but in the green and per the PcI I was on it slightly low should be a perfect launch angle. He flew out lazily to CF. Ok, his next at bat I was early on an outside slider and below it where most of the ball was out of the pci. No doubter. That’s my frustration. But again it is what it is. My problem is SDS continues to mock us knowing there is issues. The foul ball, the diving plays. It just gets old. But I’m here I’m not quitting, I’m not buying madden. So there you go.

It’s harder to notice in a 3 inning game. Over the course of 9 innings you can really see how good your opponent is and what is being rewarded. When you have 3-4 straight innings with nothing but hard outs and your opponent scored off of bloops or a home run off of an early swing on an outside pitch.. it gets old.
I also think pitchers having reduced stamina to start the game makes a big difference as well.

Yeah. I just don't see the appeal of RS anymore personally. Unless you are really into playing 9 inning games or are top 50, is just pointless. It by far has the worst rewards out of the 3 and actually making world series is bragging rights at best. Add that to the RNG and that's why I don't play it
