I don’t understand how fixing FOD framerate issues made everybody’s record 0-0.

    Hey Devs,

If you don’t want to patch hitting, can you at the very least fix the diving plays?

The mechanic is still unrealistic and very easy to make diving plays.

    Thank you.

Pretty sure they're done updating the game unless a few new songs release that they want to include in the jukebox.

Whoa whoa don't forget about card art.

Until there is another baseball game on the market and SDS have to actually compete, they will not change any gameplay mechanics at all. To be honest I don't think they actually know how to fix it, as this game has had gameplay issues for some time now. It's too bad as this game has so much potential. But as long as people keep pumping money into what it is now, which is a glamorised card collecting game, they have no reason to fix gameplay.

Thats why you and most people should leave patching and dealing with game code to the pros. 😉

This exactly. They are worried that any serious tinkering into hitting could make things worse. We have seen this happen before. No competition has made them lazy and complacent. This game needs a complete rebuild. I mean how incompetent can you be that fixing a frame rate issue erases peoples records?

Yes, unfortunately SDS has now gone the same way with this game that EA did with Madden. The gameplay is a mess in both of them and both companies only seem to care about people buying packs.

They did, that and foul balls. It’s working as intended. Ramone said so

The sad thing about this is they will lose half their player base. New game doesn’t have to be great for the first couple of years. Say what you want about Madden and EA, at least they put up a hotline (which is silly btw) to listen to their player base. Ramone just blocks people who don’t ask questions about how great he is.

I hit a ball almost 110 yesterday that my opponent’s SS dove for almost halfway between 3rd and where he was standing. The dive was so unrealistic that the first baseman was standing off first like a hit to right field. The SS popped up and threw the ball to first and would of been an easy out had it been covered. You have 1 main outcome this year, and that the homerun.

I can live with the diving plays and they are better than they were at launch with balls occasionally squirting away from fielders gloves.

The ones that probably annoy me the most are ones hit towards third, particularly down the line, the 3B dives for it and it squirts away from his glove and he can still pop up, pick up the ball up and throw out runners with 60-70 speed.
