Hilarious! That stupid idiot at SDS is looking at “data” and using his years of experience that have led him to making hundreds of thousands of dollars developing one of the best sports video games ever made! What a loser. Dude should open his eyes and listen to a bunch of biased half-wits that don’t know how to hit. The community wants “MLB The Show Tee Ball” next year and we won’t stop until you listen!! (although even then people would still put the PCI a little low, hit the tee, and then [censored] about how they hit the tee…)

Man I get your a huge fan of the game and I respect that but calling people half wits? What warranted the name calling. And making fun of peoples hitting abilities when your hitting .236? Maybe you need to hit off the tee my guy

First, I thought “half-wits” was funny. I purposely aimed that vaguely at the complainers in general and did not target an insult at any specific person, plus I think helps paint the picture that, like any field, there are experts and then there are the unwashed masses who think they are smarter. Like any sort of city planning or traffic pattern conversation on Nextdoor.com where random people think they know more than professionals who went to school for such things. Doesn’t mean the commoners are always wrong, but they usually are.
Second, hitting isn’t easy but that’s the fun of it. .236 would basically be the middle of the pack for team batting average in real life MLB this season. I think my skill level is roughly middle of the pack (usually max out in the mid-700’s, a few times I sneak into the 800’s) so that all makes sense to me. My problem is I swing at too many bad pitches, which is my fault.

Come on any person on twitter could be a better Baseball GM than the actual GMs.
Now, when it comes to the game I am not saying their should be no criticism but just like the armchair GMs who are not limited by the constraints of budget, or oftentimes reality, Your average MLB The Show player does not have the slightest clue how easy or hard it is to adjust things like the hitting engine.

I don't think anyone on here is saying they can make a better video game, But I'm sure a lot of us have played real baseball and see A LOT of flaws in the game that keep getting ignored. And I don't believe Ramone is a programmer...

This isn’t real life… this is a baseball video game, if you want to hit .236 go to play IRL baseball
