What makes this game bad IMHO

The timing windows. They’re totally inconsistent and based off of the connection you have with your opponent. Play MTO or another offline mode and the game plays beautifully. Play against someone with shaky WI-FI and it’s hot mess express. You’d think in the year 2022 and new “next gen” equipment this would be resolved? Shame cause the makings of a great game are there but unfortunately go unrealized.
One other thing- why is there different timing based on an outside pitch and an inside pitch? If you swing with normal timing it shouldn’t be late just because it’s inside. Makes zero sense.

Actually it makes perfect sense if you’ve played baseball. An inside pitch is the most difficult pitch there is. Across the plate allows you to square it up easily an inside pitch you have to be faster to get the barrel of the bay on the ball.

You’re playing a video game. Wouldn’t you think pressing a button and placing a barrel, wether it’s inside or out would constitute the same timing? Good timing is good timing regardless of inside or out. Early inside is going foul all day bro. Yes, you need to be slightly early to clear the hips but it’s not represented properly in this game. The key to that is slightly early. Not way early like you need to be in MLBTS. Maybe with your baseball acumen you can explain this better than me.

I don’t use PCI so directional is my way and I bat great using it, but it is inconsistent on some levels especially the base running.

Inside pitch is not the most difficult pitch to a pull hitter nor if your throwing below 94. Also which pitch? Also lefties notoriously love pitches low and Inside. Not trying to be combative but I think you meant gas Inside is the most difficult pitch? Aka 97 and above?
