Not a bad way to end the night

After finishing the new Conquest map I still had a few FB/Legend PXP Missions to finish, mainly the pitching ones, so I decided to jump to try my luck with the Event.
Ended the night with a 4-1 record (only loss is because as soon as the game loaded I had to take a call and I figured I could pause the game and make it back in time. Nope.
Anyway, not only did I finish off some of those PXP Missions but I also got enough PXP with the AS players I had in my lineup to make it to 70pts and not only get the Headliner with Stargell in it but the first HRD pack.
Pulled Stargell from the HL pack and pulled J-Rod from the free HRD pack.
Keeping Pops and I sold J-Rod.

You sold JRod? Why'd you do it man? I know the stubs are tempting and he has a free 97. But still, he's maybe the best position playing card right now.

I don’t know that it’s worth keeping. I love the JRod cards, but the 97 overall has better defense and the HRD card is not 200K stubs better. Just my opinion, I know everyone has different amounts of stubs and cares about different attributes.

Yeah. While he will be needed for Jackie; I can wait until they start flooding the game with these packs.
And as @brainfreeze442 stated; his AS card has better fielding attributes.
If I would play wither one of them it would be the AS card.

Last night I got home from work and I hadn't slept very well the night before so I just played a few conquest games and then drank half a bottle of NyQuil and went to sleep. This morning I woke up early and finished the new conquest map and pulled two diamond series cards,. Kyle Tucker and Aaron Nola, that are still in my inventory because I forgot to sell them. Then I played a mini-season game that was disconnected with one out left due to server issues. I decided it was a sign to take a shower and get ready for work. I woke up my wife and got in a fight due to her reluctance to make a vet appointment for her dog Charlotte (she eventually made one but I suspect the issue is terminal). After my shower the the server issue was resolved to I played a quick mini-season game and now I am at work writing about it.
