Amir Garrett has to be the worst card I have ever used
-
Its dumb. I hate when people bring in starters In relief, but as long as relievers are this broken I cant blame anyone for doing it.
-
Are you guys fully warming up your relievers? Like not half, to the max. I find it helps
-
Yeah, if you don't warm them up they come in tired, if you do you get 5 to 10 pitches.
-
I do not use lefties out of the pen online unless they will face two lefty hitters, The new rule sucks for the game.
-
Practically a free card, what do you expect! They were pushing blue...and franco with him being the low card. Basically just a gas card....aim for middle of plate and he likely will hit the corners. He okayish for me....good heat pitcher for last outs
-
he won the players tournament not the Cy Young, what was everyone expecting?
-
He’s been solid for me. He throws heat and if you can locate your pitches you should be good. Don’t pitch for contact, you’ll get destroyed.

I bought his common card on the marketplace trying to build an elite bullpen, and I can't pitch for [censored] with him. I don't know about his diamond card though.
You bought a common reliever while trying to build an elite bullpen?
Yes. Elite meaning in game, not Diamond rated, etc. No actual money spent just starting out. Thinking how good he should be I figured I would give it a shot. I was wrong.

If you are looking for a decent cheap left handed reliever I think silver Vida Blue is an xp reward, hes also going for about 550 stubs, he is solid for the price

Yeah I just bought him along with Jose Alvarado. So far so good for the price....

I Think he is pretty solid and hard as hell to hit if someone knows how to pitch.............
-
I've used him conservatively out of the pen in this event when I know I'll be facing back to back lefties and he's done fine. I think he'd probably be worse on All-Star with his pitch arsenal though.
-
Lol I loveeee seeing Garrett come out of the pen.
“Wahhhhh I can’t believe a free 85 (so barely) diamond gets lit up.”
Spend the 25k Stubs for the Doolittle collection or the 35k for chapman (the better option, he’s pitched 15 games with a 0 era for me)
-
I don't mind him getting lit up but literally has 30 stamina and his 4th pitch he energy bar is yellow and game says amir getting tired
-
Slider that starts behind a lefty batter and winds up hitting a righty batter.....
-
This type of card was way more useful last year, and we don’t even have a diamond Frank Thomas yet.
-
TN Garrett hadn’t pitched in 2 ranked games, I brought him in ( fully warmed) and after 5 pitches yes FIVE he went to the yellow... YET starters can came in and pitch 70 pitches ( yes I definitely use my starters too )
-
Interesting. Has a 0.00 era for me and a .67 whip.
-
Literally just walked off in an event game haha
-
He has been lights out for me.
