Please Bring Back Team Affinity

Dear SDS Devs,
I am overall enjoying MLB The Show 22, but I have one suggestion for MLB The Show 23. PLEASE BRING BACK TEAM AFFINITY!!! I hate that you don’t get a player from each team. You have to choose. Another thing that I liked about team affinity is that there was no time limit for when you had to complete it.

Lol be careful, the same 6 people are about to tell you how awesome it is that it’s gone even though it’s just in the time limited programs and you only get 60% of it.

I am here to agree with this comment. I liked Team affinity and sort of tired of hitting homerun moments to earn most of anything. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk

I started playing last year and in all honesty it doesn’t impact me one bit what things were like before last year. I just know I enjoyed almost every aspect of ‘21 more than ‘22 and one of the biggest reasons was TA. I didn’t even realize what it was until TA2 and ended up completing TA1 over the summer. I know it was full of rewards and all, but just the overall structure was so much more enjoyable than anything going on this year.

I like both. Still gives cards for work, but if you want them all work harder. Wouldn’t bother me either way

This year's format has grown on me but I still prefer TA the way it was. 6 rewards paths, no time limit to complete and most importantly, it gave you something to grind pretty much all year if you didn't rush through it.

TA in 21 was bad for the game it gave away to much for such little effort.
If TA is to come back ot needs to be in the for it was in MLB 20. 30 programs 1 for each team, it took a long to complete each path even using the Showdown method.
Now for me in 23 I think TA could be added but actually make it affinity base like Forza where the more you use a teams players the higher level you get and at each level or upgrade you get a wheel spin for a reward. It's hard to really it explain but it needs to be implemented in a creative way and ensure that the best cards in the game do not come from TA
