Is there really any skill involved…

In pitching with Randy? He’s an absolute beast that when you have a “weird” connection with someone, you just can’t hit. I get that maybe if you spend 5 million stubs you deserve to have a lights out pitcher that’s hard to hit but I find that any shaky connection he’s near impossible to time up. I’ve beat him before but many times it’s just a strike out fest. All you have to do is throw one or two fast balls and an off speed pitch and it’s lights out. Honestly you don’t even have to paint corners or try and be strategic about it. Just throw FB and a splitter or two and he’s near impossible to hit. Takes all of the skill out of pitching IMO.

On All-Star he is hittable. Above that just swing and hope for the best!
Agree but depends on the connection you have with your opponent

Only if people are extremely predictable. Some people become overconfident with him. If they are a good pitcher though I am dead because they can pick up my weaknesses without over using them. If they don't I have had success recently against him.

So what your saying is, if people use really good cards they automatically aren't skilled in that game?

You have a knack for twisting the narrative with your responses on this forum. I didn’t say using good cards makes you not skilled at the game. What I said was that particular card requires very little skill because he’s so difficult to time up. You don’t really need to paint corners or even be that strategic with him. He just blows it by you most of the time. I also said if you spend the Stubs you deserve to have a lights out pitcher.

I’ve noticed a lot of people are picking up on Johnson a lot better. On Allstar he’s average, opponents just sit fastball and swing early every time. On HOF he’s harder to hit but not unhittable, but Fernando Valenzuela seems to be my best pitcher. That screwball is hard to pick up on.
