Ball player conflict?

I got that when I booted up the PS4 version for the trophies after playing it mostly on the 5.
Do you have multiple player files? If so that could be why. If it is, delete all but your primary. -

I won’t delete my 1B though. 120 contact to both sides and max 125 power to both sides with 105 vision, 75 speed, and a switch hitter. I put in too much time on him to delete him.
I’ve googled this problem and from what I’m seeing there’s no fix for this hopefully I’m wrong but I’ve googled and YouTubed it with no solution smh

I had the same problem. You have to switch your pitcher out and put your 1 base man in his place and start a new season with your pitcher. The game for some reason made your pitcher a hitter. At least your not getting the archetypes glitch were every time you unlock a new archetypes your attributes reset to zero

How do you do that? Please explain cause I started a whole new ball player yesterday cause i couldn’t find a solution and just now I get hit with the same big after I grinded a lot to get him to 87 ovr only to get hit with the same BS again.
Please explain cause this ish is really frustrating me starting all over again and to get hit with the same glitch is BS.

Have you been saving any of your ballplayers progress?
If so just hit the x button on the road to the show tab in the main menu and select the load save file and load the last save file that you save for your ballplayer. -

I had no idea you can start a whole season with the player so thank you! I also tried doing the x button on the RTTS menu and that didn’t work but as long as I can continue with my player and not losing his progress I’m good. Thank you!

I ran into this same issue. Either the 3rd start or 4th start the game loaded but not as a pitcher but as a DH. Then I played the entire game and now that pitcher cam up with the error ballplayer conflict. I didn't change anything. I loaded a previous pitcher but still cannot load the carrier which was in the MLB. Now I'm starting over again with the same player but in AA. This has happened 2 times with pitchers agyer reaching the majors.
