parallel players.
It's not winning the HRDX packs as these cards are close enough to QS value that you can just outright buy them.
If that is the case; then why have 9 out of the last 10 players my buddy matched up with thrown NOTHING but balls in the dirt. Not low. Not outside. IN THE DIRT. The announcers even say that was thrown in the dirt.
Are people that worried about the ERA of a 61 OVR Common pitcher that you'll probably NEVER use again?
I know, take a few pitches and then their opponent will start throwing strikes. Nope. Just watched him win 9 games in a row where his opponent walked the bases loaded in 12 straight balls thrown in the dirt to only quit.
How are you supposed to PXP players when you're only getting walks and ABs with them? It will take him forever.

I find that if you take balls people will eventually throw you strikes.
We'll, he played 12 games tonight. He won the first 9 without getting one hit.
He won 10th when his opponent dashboarded on what would've been a 3 run shot by MA Reynolds.
The last two he lost.
Then he played two 9 inn games vs the Rockies and finished off both sets of 1500/2500 PXP with MA Hitters/Pitchers for May and June.

When you keep swinging at dirtballs, no one is going to throw a strike! How many times does this forum have to tell you this? Have you heard the definition of the word "insane"? It definitely describes you in your playing of the game and in your posts in this forum!

No, I didn't miss the point. If you read my original post it states that the main goal is to parallel players. I didn't say his. I didn't say someone else's.
How do you parallel a player? By getting hits. Yes, you can get PXP taking walks. But you'll seriously tell me that you'll sit there and wait for your opponent to walk you for the PA and a Walk when you can get the same for a bit and more for an extra base hit?
Ex: if I'm not mistaken you have a PS5. And I'm pretty sure when you grind offline, if you do, you use that created stadium that has low walls and high elevation because it helps you to get XBHs.
You don't sit there and wait for the CPU to walk you. Same thing when he plays. He doesn't expect meatballs. But he expects at least one hittable pitch per AB.

It may help if you read what people are telling you! No one is going to help you parallel your players! That would be called boosting, violates the TOS, and is worthy of a ban! You need to do what you need to do to parallel your players. Part of that would be quit swinging at balls in the dirt and expect people to throw strikes when you can't stop swing at those in the dirt! People on this forum have been telling you this over and over again!

Again, RE-READ my original post. He DIDN'T swing at anything outside the zone. He actually sets his controller down and doesn't pick it up until he has at least an 0-2 count against him.
He sat there and watch 9 different opponents walk the first three batters of each game and then quit before throwing another pitch.
Yes, he got 9 free wins. But he got [censored] in PXP. That's why he wanted to play the Event for the extra PXP boost.
It's all moot now as I said he finished off what he needed in two Play Vs CPU games, got his two HRDX packs, and called it a night.
