I have last year’s game. I’m fine with it but I’m looking at this year’s version. Is it worth it to buy this year’s game or should I wait until next year? There doesn’t seem to be much that’s changed and I see lots of people upset at hitting in 22. Thoughts?

If you've liked the game, buy it. I think a lot of people gripe just to gripe. If you think it's fun like I do, just get it.

I've read that people say this is the same as last year, but honestly - how much can a baseball game change from year to year? It's baseball. Hit the ball. Catch the ball. Throw the ball.

The game has some of the same elements it has always had but there are new spins and ways they are giving us goals to complete for other things.

I agree with @beatlesnews_PSN. If you like the game, then go ahead and buy it.

If you play RTTS or Franchise and you are happy with 21 then I would say stick with 21. Some minor improvements have been made in those two modes but not enough, in my opinion, to have to start again from scratch (unless you want to or are ready too)

If you pay DD then it is a matter of whether you want to be part of the content rollouts as they happen.

And for the record, people complain about hitting every single year.

I got the game because SDS said they were going to have better trade logic in franchise. I guess it is a little bit better, but I don't think it's all that much better. But I'm just a year into mine and I guess it's supposed to make it better for longer franchise runs.

For RttS, it's not quite as satisfying because they cap your player at 50 attribute points, and you have to make up the rest using your archetypes and gear. Trouble is the gear isn't all that great so you can only get him so far up the skill tree. I'm pretty sure you can't ever get him up to a 99. I'm on my second season with my guy and he's a 94 with his gear right now. Maybe that's good enough to be a great player, but I just want him at 99 LOL

It an upgrade from last years version. I buy the new version because I enjoy the game tremendously. Only complaint this year is that the analog fielding is super sensitive and the amount of errors is rediculous, even with the meter turned off.
