So I've been playing the game basically since it's come out (with a week where I was out of town), and I'm still missing Trout, Ramirez, Tatis, and Acuna to complete my teams and get all the bonus players that come with that. To acquire them would cost over 1 million stubs. I've already paid big money to get Judge, Scherzer, and others that I have not been able to get from the many, many packs I've acquired. Is SDS just falsely limiting these cards? It seems ludicrous to expect to get 1 million stubs to acquire 4 players that should be gettable if you play the game sufficiently. And I play around 3-4 hours a day.

90+ diamonds are more scarce than 85-89, so yes there is indeed a lesser supply.

My strategy (3rd year player here) was to buy nothing except for the 90+ diamonds because I knew they were going to be going up as people get more stubbs/stubb sales began. On 1 hand I saved a huge amount finishing the angels 1st while on the flip side I paid 195k for Vlad Jr (but 20k for Judge).

You have to play the market. Save your stubs. Buy the expensive cards. I got lucky and pulled Trout this year. It's only the 2nd release I've pulled him in a pack and I've played DD since 16.
