CAP vs FS
-
OK have to ask the community a question here an mainly directed at those who do not like or don't care about Future Star cards
What are your thoughts about the created player being allowed in online play?

Don’t like CAP players or CAP stadiums for online play. They are fine for offline, but personally I don’t believe they belong online.
I also am not against FS…I just don’t like 30 95s rolling in at the same time….especially when they are FS.

Both are silly. A cap is a 120 contact/power from both sides with blazing speed and diamond defense. Basically the best card in the game. But they are here to stay because they are being used to try and persuade rtts players to play DD and hopefully buy packs.
FS cards are lame because they take the place of what would be legend players. Imagine if this program was reversed and we got 95 ovr legend and flashbacks and high 80s FS. That would be way better. Also they always give the same boring players, I'm tired of korey Lee. This Bobby Miller card will be in everyone's rotation from now until probably September, 102 fastball, 96 sinker with good break, and a 85mph splitter... why? Online play was already bad enough.

Everyone playing wishes a certain legend was in it and there’s a “create a player” feature. Arod Bonds Jeter Fernandez all pretty easy to nearly duplicate. I usually make Bautista now that he’s gone, and used to make Mays before he was added.
PS Beltran is basically still in the game, you just have to name him, then go find the right swing and stance, download him in the vault and copy the face and body over. Boom you just unlocked a hidden “just late be great” audio sound.
The OP ones are annoying against a good player who is probably hitting 2-3 bombs but if you make a player you like it numbs the pain and makes you look less sweaty.
I’m sure there’s a more up to date one

Que all the sensitives on here who get severely offended when playing against a 6'8 green haired "Dixie Normous".
The point of DD is fantasy based, so if someone wants to use a CAP then by all means go ahead. Making a submarine pitcher who throws 102 mph sinkers is super cheesy, but it is what it is. At the end of the day, the CAP card really isn't much better than some of the nonsense legend cards they throw out....so it's really not much different.

CAPs are fine. Like above, CAP pitchers with 102 mph sinkers/4seams and sub deliveries are very cheesy and annoying but most people I see don't waste CAPs on pitchers.
FS are also fine. They give you some variety. Except Bobby Miller...F that guy (4 of my last 5 games have been against him).
Which leads me to a whole different discussion on why Outlier shouldn't be a thing (or needs to be completely reworked and why P levels shouldn't increase velocity).
