XP give Program Points?

I saw on here that you get a Program “star” for every 3000 XP earned.

Is this true? Is it just certain types of XP?

I just collected and locked a bunch of cards in for 20/40 and 30/40 for some team collections. Like 10K XP worth. My cousin bat on the top right went up but my program points for the first inning program stayed the same.

You don't get program points for set xp rewards in collections. But when you play any mode the xp you get while playing gets you program stars.

Ok. That’s consistent with what I was seeing. I figured “XP” was ”XP”.

So follow up question. I assume you get XP in game for hitting homeruns striking out guys etc. ? Your performance influences how much XP you earn in game?

Yes, a big thing most dont realize is taking pitches gets you a lot of xp, you get more xp on a 7 pitch strike out than you would a first pitch hit.
