AS Betts

Here is another one of those lovely 'what would you do' posts. Lol
Going in, I know each card plays differently for each person.
That being said, I wanted this card when it first released but was to cheap to buy it.
Remember, I WANTED it. Didn't need it.
Anyway, I almost bit the bullet and bought him when he was around 60K but waited to long and he's back up to 80-90K.
I still want him but know that he'll eventually drop more once they start flooding the game with AI Series 1 packs.
However, by then there may be better options.
If I buy him now he will battle with Lightning Dawson for the RF spot and the loser will take a bench spot from TN Story or LS Judge.
So to anyone that has used him AND Lightning Dawson; which one do you prefer?

Wait until he peaks at 110,000 then buy him. You will get the better version of. Meaning, his swing will work for you. That is how its determined rather or not the player will rake.

I would buy Betts and replace Chisholm or Durham. If you really like Chisholm, Betts is a much better bench bat than Durham. Durham has no positional flexibility.
But I’d see if you like Betts over Chisholm first.

I think AS Betts is the best position player in the game. He plays almost as gods as his mvp card last year

At this point I’d take your time with the LS collection. The only guy that’s really significantly better than what’s on the market is Randy.

Marte is super cheap right now and his swing is butter. Betts price is stupid high right now but that is because the Intense Pack 1 is not available right now. I would wait until they release that pack again and his price should come back down.

his live series went up 3 overalls right after the AS card came out i actually hit better with his ls card as it had better perks and its a quarter of the price especially when he has inside edge hes actually even better on those days

Yeah, I used his LS alot. And he was my 2nd baseman until I got FOTF Chisholm.
I wish there was a way to compare two cards without having them in your binder.

I would watch the market today. Betts should drop in price. People unload cards cheap with almost every content drop.
