The new diving animations are way better than what we had. Also I just realized this new program was extended to 1,000,000 xp. That's awesome.
Brett is good too. I'm waiting on a couple cards before I finish the collection, but his card looks great.

They are steps in the right direction for sure, but to say they're "killing it lately"... yeah I don't agree with that at all. It hasn't been that long since they said this game "works as intended" despite all the obvious flaws. Now they throw us 2 cookies and you say they're killing it? I will never understand that mindset, all due respect.

That's a good thing, don't get me wrong. But I will not give them, or any other company for that matter, a pass just because they do 1 or 2 things right while doing everything else wrong.

I've been playing mini season, conquest, rtts, moments, apex legends lol, basically anything and everything except this games online modes. Therefore I concede, you are correct, game has major flaws.
I jumped the gun lol
Still nice to be enjoying it again. The past couple weeks have felt like a chore.

As someone who quit and refuses to install the game again until things are much improved, a Brett card and a diving animation ain’t doin it.

There's still a lot of frustration like real baseball, like when the wind is always blowing in, lol. Just put up 11 on the Rockies with Rockies on Veteran in the first inning for the CC program. Wind was blowing out. Fun times 🤪

I took a week off and came back to play the new program. Ton of content that I really like. New dives, I actually like the added cut scenes.. feels a little more fresh. Content team gets a A from me for this program after an F Halladay program. Just my opinion. I’ve been playing a lot of conquest and mini seasons so far. Just trying to get a good jump on this program. Still has its flaws obviously but I’m enjoying it a lot right now.

Meh. I'm not complaining but I am not a fan of the future stars. Not this many at least. Korey Lee for the Astros is laughable. A lot of the others probably are too I just don't know those guys. The way Korey Lee is playing in the Minors he will be lucky to be an every day starter for more than a few years at the mlb level.

The dive animations are for sure a good thing. Not sure how the original penguin dive even made it through testing.

As soon as the program was announced I knew it would be another korey Lee card. It really should have been hunter brown or Alex De goti.

I play mostly offline as well. I’m on XB Series X so last year was my 1st time playing The Show in a while. I wanted to play online but, unfortunately, I kept running into players who seemed to put more effort into being scum bags instead of just playing the game. When I heard about the stuff that was already happening online with this year’s game, I decided it wasn’t worth the stress.
Personally, I’ve been kind by of disappointed in the offline content so far. RTTS is ok but it’s more of a hassle than last year since you can’t use the same player to complete every program. I’ve already completed every available moment, every conquest map and I completed a mini season but it gets boring after a while.
I might be in the minority but I enjoy playing Showdown. However, this year, they removed the rewards after beating the final boss (ex: 5 The Show packs) so there’s no motivation to play it after beating it the 1st time. In The Show 21, I played the repeatable Showdown that rewarded us with our choice of player card after beating it. I was able to earn stubs from selling them on the marketplace and it gave me the opportunity to purchase other cards that I wouldn’t have been able to afford because I have a full-time career job and a family.
They’ve ruined Showdown (as a replayable offline mode) and the other modes get boring really fast after they’ve been completed the 1st time.
Just my opinion though…
