I had all the takashi cards with Delgado except for Morgan. I decided to sell them all and buy the cover athletes and have stubs left over

Considering you need 8/9 Okazaki cards for Babe and all 12 Cover Athletes for Mauer, it seems to me these probably won't be included for the Big collection. I mean what are they gonna do add a voucher along with Mauer?
I expect The Babe and Joe Mauer's 96 rated cards to be worth vouchers for the Big Collection. That is how they have done it the past couple years. Usually, you need all but one voucher, so you will probably need at least one of those two cards to complete the Big Collection.

I've got both, so now need to see where I'm light in the other categories. But I'm so lukewarm on the game this year, not sure I'll care much...

Since it’s the BiG collection, I was thinking every collectable will have a reward similar to live series. Where you would get a player in place of the voucher to use towards whoever the big card might be.

I just picked up two more for a total of three. I'm not getting the other ones so I'm gonna sell for other cards. I'm still focusing on live series.

Not saying it won't be like that this year, but that is not the way the "big collections" have been in the past. Only the current small collections that have a player card for collecting all of a special series (as in Okazaki, Cover Athletes and not your Postseason, Rookie, All Star, 2nd Half, Milestone, Signatures, Awards, Breakout, Veteran, and this year the FotF). This year the Prospect series has a final card reward (Adley Rutschman) so that will also most likely be a card to collect in lieu of a voucher.

It was a shot in the dark, just seems they’re trying to change up the game a bit this year compared to previous and it might be a cool way of bringing in some missing legends.

There was also Jackie, who was there at launch= Mauer, and Ohtani. Jackie and Ohtani were both vouchers for Mookie. Even if you are talking about Rivera, Jackie was still a voucher
