Should be the collection reward for all the future stars cards. Because he totally would have gotten one had DD been around 30 years ago! 😂🤣😂

This is fun - need to have Ben McDonald (Orioles), Eric Anthony (Astros), Rick Ankiel (STL), Jesus Montero (NYY or SEA), Gregg Jefferies (Mets) and how can we forget Sidd Fynch (Mets) who would set the new high with Outlier+. 🤣

Greg Jefferies? He had a nice career, not a bust

Thanks for that memory, amazing how time moves buy so quietly and quickly. That guy was definitely supposed to be the next best, greatest of all time. I hope everything worked out for him I know he was never able to achieve what was being predicted at the time I feel like he was plagued by injuries. But wow what a card that would have been. I can see it now 99 break, control, velo. 125 H per9, and 2 outliers on sinker and fastball. Followed by the greatest cutter, slurve, circle change. 2020 Kluber would be welcomed by everyone because Van Poppel would have broken the game.

Agree - just more of a play on the fact that he had a 1989 Topps Future Stars card. Growing up outside NYC, still always thought he’d be better but late 80s for me was peak baseball card collecting years so was definitely “over invested” 🤣

You know who else would have gotten one that year? Chipper Jones and Pedro Martinez.

It’s a video game…meant to be fun. Try having fun and not whining about everything.

I love Future Stars so definitely not whining over here. Failed ones could be pretty funny imo.
