Go to the sliders, turn up the fastball speed as high as it will go and then head into custom practice.

Face Corbin Burnes, and set it up so that he only throws cutters and sinkers both outside and inside.

Start at whatever difficulty level you can maintain and try to learn the timing it takes to turn on the inside pitches.

Then, set it up to where he’s only throwing inside sinkers and get the feeling of recognizing and turning on those

I did this on legend difficulty today and it definitely helped once I jumped into RS. Ran off 3 wins to hit WS and I was able to turn on my opponent’s inside pitches much better than before

I hope this helps those that was struggling like I was with sinkers inside

Also, watch Movie Gaming’s video on YouTube about hitting inside pitches. It’s quite good!

I’ve changed my approach so much over the years but I’ve noticed that if I don’t start my PCI middle I can’t hit it

Yeah custom practice is undervalued, I do that before entering a HOF & Legend game

If it’s R/R or L/L, I also have to cheat inside even when I’m hitting well

If I’m facing opposite handed pitching, I can keep my PCI in the middle and normally react from there at least on HOF

I normally struggle on legend unless I’m just cracked that game

I find this to be the best advice anyone can give for hitting. When I feel the bat starting to slow down a bit I do this.
