I am not a top player and don't really push for WS in Ranked Season's, but I like to think I am a decent pitcher, so with that being said I thought I would throw out some pitching tip's that have helped me this season. Pitching has been hit or miss this year, I even made a few post about how bad it was at the beginning of the year, but since the latest patch and a bit of trial and error I think I have found some keys to locating your pitches.

I am a meter pitcher so these tips are based on my experience with meter.

    1. Stop maxing out the meter, its fine to max out how hard you throw a pitch every once in a while, but don't do it all the time. I was making this mistake a lot at the beginning of the year, maxing the meter getting a perfect release but it was no where near the spot I located it. Overthrowing effects accuracy this year, definitely more than it did last year, so when you throw your pitch try to stop at about the halfway mark or just before the red, if you hit a perfect release it will end up where you located it.

    2. Hold the pitch locater in your spot for the entirety of the pitch, I found myself picking a spot starting the pitch and letting go of the left stick leading to pitches ending up centre cut, you may be able to release the Left stick once you release the pitch but I just hold it in place.

    3. Don't quick pitch, I have found my pitchers go wild, especially with runners on base if I try to quick pitch.Pick your pitch, come to a stop, then throw your pitch. I have found locating my pitches is a lot easier when I do this.

    4. Don't be afraid to walk people and dont get frustrated by it, 75% of the people you will face will come unglued with runners on base and will start to swing at anything to drive the runner in, this allows you to expand the zone.

Some of you may already know these things, and like I said I am not a top player, but I have been seeing people still having issues with pitching, in particular locating so I thought I would pass along what has helped me so far.

    Thanks for your time.
